99,21 Persen Penduduk Indonesia Sudah BerKTP-el

Jakarta – Sebanyak 99,21 persen penduduk Indonesia telah memiliki KTP-el. Hal tersebut disampaikan oleh Direktur Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Prof. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh ketika mengisi Webinar Nasional bertema ‘Sistem Adminduk antara Tanggung Jawab Negara dan Kebutuhan Masyarakat’ yang digelar Fakultas Hukum Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar, Senin (20/1/2022).

Lebih lanjut Dirjen Zudan menambahkan, “Dari 272.229.372 hanya 0,8 persen penduduk Indonesia yang belum mempunyai KTP-el. Mereka yang belum memiliki KTP-el tersebar dan terbanyak di wilayah Papua dan Papua Barat.”

Seluruh data administrasi kependudukan ini harus bertujuan untuk memudahkan pelayanan publik. Sebagaimana dinyatakan dalam Pasal 58 ayat (4) UU Administrasi Kependudukan. “Pintu aksesnya adalah Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK). Semangatnya adalah single identity number,” tambah Dirjen Zudan.

Menurut Dirjen Zudan, hal ini menunjukkan perkembangan pelayanan administrasi kependudukan sudah sangat baik dilakukan DInas Dukcapil di daerah. Mengingat, banyaknya kendala di lapangan terkait pencetakan KTP-el. Seperti kendala geografis, jaringan, dan lainnya. “Setiap harinya data ini terus di-update oleh Dinas Dukcapil di 514 kabupaten/kota.”

Webinar yang dihadiri oleh 275 peserta dari berbagai macam kalangan seperti jajaran rektorat, dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Hasanuddin Makassar, Kepala Dinas beserta staf Disdukcapil Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, serta masyarakat umum. (Dukcapil kemendagri)
