Bahtiar: Pemilih Muda Diminta Awasi Tahapan Pilkada Serentak

KESBANG.COM, BOGOR –  Direktur Politik Dalam Negeri Kemendagri, DR. Bahtiar mengajak kaum generasi muda untuk berperan serta aktif di dalam tahapan Pilkada 2018 dan Pemilu 2019.

Pemilih pemula harus sadar proses-proses politik. Karena itu, harus ikut aktif untuk memantau proses pemilihan, tahapannya, kandidatnya, ikuti prosesnya, dan tidak boleh diam saja. Jika kita diam, maka politik akan diisi oleh orang-orang bermental perampok dan korup,” kata Bahtiar saat memberikan materi pada Rapat Koordinasi Evaluasi dan Pemantauan Seleksi Penyelenggaraan Pemilu di Daerah di Hotel Pramesthi, Bogor, Senin (6/11/2017).

Rakor dihadiri Kepala Bidang Kesbangpol Kab, Bogor dan jajarannya, para ketua Forum Pembaruan Kebangsaan (FPK), Forum Koordinasi Umat Beragama (FKUB), Tokoh Masyarakat, Mahasiwa dan para pelajar yang dalam pemilihan 2018 dan 2019 akan menjadi pemilih awal.

Bahtiar menjelaskan, realita politik di Indonesia saat ini banyak diisi kalangan tua yang berpendidikan tinggi. Peran kamu muda belum banyak terlibat. Padahal, masa depan adalah milik kalian. Jadi dengan aktif di dunia politik kalian bisa ikut berparitispasi dan mengawasi jalannya pemilihan kepala daerah pada semua tahapan.

“Jika anda tidak ikut berpolitik, maka kehidupan politik akan diisi oleh orang-orang jahat,” tegasnya.

Bahtiar mencontohkan, salah satu dampak negatif dari sistem pemilihan saat  ini menghasilkan orang-orang  kena Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT) Komisi Pemberantas Korupsi. Jumlah sekitar 200 orang dan hampir ada di semua kabupaten termasuk di Bogor.

Sebaliknya dulu, kata Bahtiar ketika pemimpin dipilih oleh DPRD tidak ada pejabat yang kena OTT. Nah, kondisi berubah paska reformasi semua pemimpin dipilih langsung oleh rakyat. Tidak sedikti pemimpin yang karena punya uang namun tidak memiiki integritas bisa naik menjadi walikota dan bupati dan ketika menjabat akhirnya mereka korupsi.

“Ke depan, kita menunggu masukan dari masyarakat untuk mengevaluasi sistem pemilihan yang berjalan saat ini,” papar Bahtiar.

Kepada para pelajar dan Mahasiswa, Bahtiar meminta ager mereka mencegah masuk orang-orang jahat ini dengan jalan kaum muda ikut berpolitik baik melalui jalur ormas hingga partai politik.

Dengan adanya peran kaum muda tersebut, Bahtiar mengatakan kualitas pemilihan akan semakin baik, sehingga diharapkan dapat melahirkan pemimpin-pemimpin yang amanah kepada rakyat.

“Tentu pemerintah senang makin banyak kamu muda ikut yang mengawal, menjaga supaya Pilkada 2018 dan Pemilihan Presiden 2019 bisa berjalan dengan transparan, penuh integrtas, sehingga yang didapat itu pilkada yang berkualitas. Nah kalau pilkadanya berkualitas, maka akan didapat juga pemimpin yang berkualitas,” harap  Bahtiar.

Sementara itu, Kasubdit Implementasi Kebijakan Publik Bangun Sitohang yang juga sebagai Ketua Panitia kegiatan mengatakan forum seperti ini yang melibatkan kaum muda dan stakeholder kesbangpol di daerah merupakan sarana strategis bagi pendidikan politik masyarakat jelang pilkada daerah, pemilihan legislatif dan pemilihan presiden di tahun 2019 nanti.

“Kita selalu menekankan kepada pemilih cerdas agar pahami regulasi, aturan main dan selalu berpegang pada etika dalam berpolitik pada level apapun. Dengan mengusai regulasi anda dijamin telah mengembangkan sikap politik yang cerdas sekaligus santun secara politik.

Hadir juga dalam paparan akhir, Kepala Kesbangpol Kabupaen Bogor, Wawan Darwaman yang dalam kesempatan itu berpesan kepada para pemilih di Bogor agar turut mengawasi proses pilkada serta mensukseskan pilkada di Kab. Bogor dan  pilkada serentak 2019. (Zul)
