Pasalnya, lanjut Aprillia, peristiwa tersebut semakin menegaskan bahwa ada mata rantai yang belum bisa di putus dan di urai terkait dengan tindakan-tindakan yang menodai penegakan hukum Indonesia.
“KAI sangat prihatin atas peristiwa tersebut. Ini preseden sangat buruk. Bisa menimbulkan distrust atau ketidakpercayaan masyarakat kepada lembaga pengadilan. Kalau keadaan dan pola penegakan hukum seperti ini dibiarkan, maka hal ini akan menjadi ancaman serius di dalam penegakan hukum di Republik ini. Masih adakah harapan rakyat akan keadilan dari para pengadil kalo begini caranya? Penegakan hukum di Indonesia saat ini sudah kacau,” ujar Aprilia di Jakarta, Sabtu, (09/09/17).
Karena itu, Aprillia berharap, bercermin dari rentetan kejadian serupa di Pengadilan Bengkulu kemarin, agar seluruh elemen/lembaga penegak hukum untuk duduk bersama membahas kondisi penegakan hukum dan membuat serta menyepakati sebuah komitmen kuat yang bisa di tuangkan dalam bentuk SK Bersama misalnya.
“Kalau seperti ini terus akan membuat mental bangsa ini rusak, dan jika begini terus bangsa ini bukannya akan maju tapi akan mundur.” katanya.
KAI, lanjut April, mengusulkan, mengajak dan mendorong kepada Catur Wangsa penegak hukum (hakim, advokat,polisi dan jaksa) untuk membentuk Forum Bersama yang secara periodik dan berkala bisa membahas persoalan hukum bangsa ini.
“Forum Bersama ini akan menjadi media yang efektif untuk secara strategis dan konsepsional membahas kondisi dan persoalan hukum bangsa ini yang masih memprihatinkan. Yang tidak kalah penting juga saat ini Komisi III DPR RI yang membidangi masalah hukum harus terus mengambil peran yang kuat di dalam pembangunan dan penegakan hukum sesuai tupoksi Komisi III. Dan salah satu peran yang bisa di mainkan saat ini adalah memberikan penguatan terhadap KPK” tegas Aprillia.
“Bahwa KPK perlu di kritisi dari beberapa sisi memang betul, saya setuju hal itu, tetapi cara mengkritisinya harus proporsional dan bersifat konstruktif, tidak boleh ada politisasi yang bertujuan melemahkan. Secara realitas yang tidak bisa di pungkiri oleh siapapun, sejak kelahirannya hingga saat ini KPK menjadi tumpuan harapan rakyat terkait pemberantasan korupsi dan KPK telah dapat memenuhi harapan itu. Bahwa ada kekurangan dalam hal sistem yang di bangun di internal KPK itu wajar, dan itu yang harus di perbaiki. Jangan karena ada baut karatan, ada skrup yang aus kemudian mobilnya harus di tenggelamkan kelaut. Saya kira tidak seperti itu. Elemen yang tidak/kurang baik di perbaiki. Itu rumusnya” tambah pria yang mantan Ketua DPD KAI Jogjakarta ini.
