KESBANG,COM, JAKARTA –  Sejumlah inovasi di bidang ekonomi seperti mendirikan Toko Milik Rakyat (TOMIRA) menggantikan Alfamart dan Indomart, inovasi kesehatan hingga produksi air meniral “Airku” yang dilakukan oleh Bupati Kulonprogo, Hasto Wardoyo banyak mendapat apllause dari para peserta Indonesia Expo dan Forum Kemendagri 2017.

Di mata mantan Ketua Umum Gerakan Pemuda Islam Indonesia (GPII), Ahmad Toha Almansyur, terobosan yang dilakukan oleh Bupati Hasto telah memberi inspirasi bagi kaum muda akan perlunya keberanian untuk mengambil keputusan-keputusan strategis terkait kesejahtean rakyat.

“Bupati Hasto merupakan figur yang langka di tingkat pejabat Bupati. Sementara banyak Bupati sedang kena Operasi Tangkap Tangan KPK, dia justru terus melakukan inovasi bagi rakyatnya,” ujar Toha di temui di TMII, Jakarta, Minggu (22/10/2017).

Toha, yang juga wartawan senior ini mengatakan, tagline Bupati “Bela Beli Produk Kulonprogo” telah membangkitkan spirit kekuatan baru tidak hanya bagi rakyat Kulonprogo melainkan telah meluas ke daerah lain.

Dia mencontohkan  tentang produksi Batik di Kulonprogo. Dari 8.000 PNS dan 80.000 pelajar di Kulon Progo diwajibkan memakai seragam batik geblek renteng, batik khas Kulonprogo, pada hari tertentu. Sentra kerajinan batik tumbuh pesat, dari cuma 2 menjadi 50-an.

Toha sangat kagum dengan apa yang disampaikan oleh Bupati Hasto pada paparan di Forum Ekspo yang dihadiri mahasiwa, pejabat daerah termasuk Bupati. Banyak inovasi-inovasi bidang kesehatan maupun bidang lainnya yang berhasil dijalankan, termasuk kagum dengan produk air minum kemasan “Airku.”

“Pemimpin sejati memakmurkan rakyatnya dengan cara mandiri memenuhi kebutuhan sendiri. Memberi pasar bagi rakyatnya dan menumbuhkembangkan ekonomi rakyatnya untuk bangkit,” papar Toha.

Mantan Konsultan Media BNP2TKI ini mengajungkan jempol lantaran Bupati Hasto mampu menjadi Kabupaten yang memiliki Perda tentang (Kawasa Tanpa Rokok) KTR.  Kulonprogo adalah satu dari 220 dari 514 Kabupaten yang sudah menjadi Kawasan KTR .  (Zul/Foto: Ist)
