*TANGSEL* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) dan Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo bersama arsitek ternama Indonesia Jeffrey Budiman, serta Wakil Ketua Umum Olahraga Mobil IMI Pusat Ananda Mikola dan Deputi Wakil Ketua Umum Olahraga Mobil IMI Pusat Bagoes Hermanto, mematangkan konsep pembangunan Museum Otomotif Indonesia (MOI) by Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) yang akan dibangun di atas lahan seluas 4 hektar di Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). MOI by IMI akan mengedepankan konsep Historical, sport education and entertainment automotive tourism. Berbagai kegiatan menarik akan disiapkan untuk memanjakan para turis, dari mulai kegiatan harian maupun kegiatan akhir pekan.

Untuk olahraga antara lain akan disiapkan lintasan sirkuit gokart listrik yang bisa dipakai turis untuk menghabiskan waktu bersama keluarga. Termasuk simulator balap yang bisa dipakai oleh turis dan komunitas otomotif untuk menyelenggarakan kejuaraan VirtuaRacer (kejuaraan balap virtual menggunakan simulator).

“Untuk Education, di dalam kawasan MOI by IMI akan disiapkan workshop khusus bagi para pelaku usaha pembuatan mobil, seperti Tuksedo Studio dan pelaku usaha sejenis lainnya. Mereka bisa memperlihatkan kehandalan tangan-tangan anak bangsa dalam membuat mobil dari nol, dari mulai desain, rancang bangun, hingga siap dikendarai di jalan raya. Sehingga masyarakat dalam negeri dan luar negeri bisa mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya anak bangsa sudah bisa memproduksi sendiri mobil dari nol. Bahkan mobil sekelas Porsche 356 Speedster (1957), Porsche 356 A Coupe (1955-1959), Porsche 550 Spyder (1953-1956), hingga Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing (1954 1957), sudah bisa diproduksi dari nol oleh tangan-tangan anak bangsa kita sendiri,” ujar Bamsoet usai bertemu Jeffrey Budiman di Tangerang Selatan, Minggu (9/4/23)

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, di dalam kawasan MOI by IMI juga akan disiapkan berbagai workshop seputar dunia otomotif. Seperti workshop pembuatan jok mobil, audio, hingga berbagai workshop reparasi otomotif lainnya. Masih di dalam ranah edukasi, MOI by IMI akan menampilkan berbagai koleksi kendaraan yang memiliki nilai historis tinggi dalam sejarah perjalanan dunia otomotif Indonesia. Seperti kendaraan kepresidenan, hingga kendaraan balap yang pernah dipakai oleh pembalap ternama Indonesia dalam mengharumkan nama bangsa di berbagai kejuaraan internasional.

MOI by IMI juga akan bekerjasama dengan pabrikan otomotif seperti Toyota, Honda dan lainnya untuk menampilkan sejarah perjalanan sebuah brand otomotif. Misalnya dengan menampilkan kendaraan Kijang dari tipe Buaya (1977-1981) hingga Kapsul (1997-2004).

“Berbagai koleksi kendaraan yang dipajang di MOI by IMI akan ada yang berganti secara berkala setiap 3 bulan sekali, dengan kurasi yang ketat dari para kurator ternama. Sehingga turis tidak cukup datang sekali, melainkan harus datang berkali-kali untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut tentang berbagai kendaraan historis yang ada di Indonesia. Sekaligus menjadi daya tarik bagi turis, karena selalu ada hal baru yang disajikan di MOI by IMI,” jelas Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Pemuda Pancasila dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, untuk kegiatan entertainment, antara lain akan disiapkan live music yang dibarengi dengan kontes modifikasi otomotif, kontes audio, kontes jok, dan berbagai kontes kegiatan lainnya. Selain itu, secara berkala setiap sebulan sekali, akan diadakan lelang kendaraan.

“Kehadiran lelang di dalam MOI by IMI bisa dimanfaatkan oleh para kolektor dan pecinta otomotif yang ingin menjual dan membeli kendaraan yang diminatinya. Termasuk bisa dimanfaatkan untuk menarik lebih banyak turis dari luar negeri, mengingat kendaraan yang dilelang adalah kendaraan klasik dan bersejarah,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
