JAKARTA – Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) menghadiri pertemuan pertama G20 kelompok kerja pengurangan risiko bencana atau pokja PRB (G20 DRR WG). Kegiatan itu berlangsung di Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India pada 29 Maret hinga 1 April 2023 yang lalu.

Deputi Bidang Sistem dan Strategi BNPB Dr. Raditya Jati yang menjadi pembicara pada pertemuan tersebut mengatakan, _Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction_ (GPDRR) ke-7 di Bali pada 2022 lalu telah menghasilkan _Bali Agenda for Resilience_ atau BAR. Raditya mengajak perwakilan dari negara-negara untuk merujuk BAR dalam penanggulangan bencana.

“Pentingnya memiliki semangat _Bali Agenda for Resilience_ sebagai upaya resiliensi berkelanjutan dan mengetengahkan pengurangan risiko bencana untuk menjembatani isu-isu perubahan iklim dan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan,” tutur Raditya.

Dirinya menjelaskan, bencana-bencana yang terjadi di Indonesia merupakan pelajaran kepada seluruh pihak, khususnya untuk pengurangan risiko bencana.

“Sebagai negara kepulauan, Indonesia mengalami beberapa _wake up call_ berupa gempa bumi besar dan tsunami, seperti Aceh tahun 2004, Yogyakarta tahun 2006, Sulawesi Tengah tahun 2018, dan gempa bumi Cianjur tahun 2022,” ungkapnya.

“Ada tiga hal yang Indonesia pelajari dari pengalaman – pengalaman tersebut, yaitu tata kelola, eksekusi, dan kemitraan. Indonesia juga menggarisbawahi pentingnya mengintegrasikan isu perubahan iklim dengan pengurangan risiko bencana untuk mencapai tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui semangat resiliensi berkelanjutan,” tambah Raditya.

Pada kesempatan ini, BNPB juga menghadirkan Kepala Desa Duda Timur I Gede Pawana selaku Pimpinan Pasebaya Agung untuk menceritakan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pengurangan risiko bencana pada wilayah sekitar Gunung Agung, di Bali.

“Pengalaman I Gede Pawana dalam memimpin Pasebaya Agung menunjukkan betapa pentingnya pelibatan masyarakat lokal dalam peningkatan kesiapsiagaan mereka terhadap ancaman bencana,” pungkasnya.

Pasebaya (Pasemetonan Jagabaya) Agung merupakan forum masyarakat dan relawan yang dibentuk pada 17 November 2017 dan terdiri dari warga 28 desa di kawasan lingkar Gunung Agung, Provinsi Bali. Pasebaya Agung menjadi mitra pemerintah pusat dan daerah dalam hal melakukan edukasi bencana kepada masyarakat dan menyebarkan informasi secara akurat dan terkini terkait Gunung Agung di Bali.

Sementara itu, India yang saat ini memegan presidensi G20 mengagendakan pokja pengurangan risiko bencana ini berlangsung tiga kali pada tahun 2023 ini.
