*BOGOR* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo membuka gelaran seri ke-4 FIM MiniGP Indonesia Series 2022 yang diselenggarakan di Sentul International Karting Circuit, Bogor. Diikuti 16 pembalap muda berusia 10 hingga 14 tahun menggunakan motor Ohvale GP-0 160 Cc.

 

“15 pembalap muda yang berlaga di FIM MiniGP Indonesia Series 2022 merupakan yang terbaik dari puluhan peserta berusia 10-14 tahun yang mengikuti seleksi dengan menggunakan motor Ohvale GP-0 160 pada 15 dan 20 Juni. Nantinya, dua pembalap terbaik dari FIM MiniGP Indonesia Series 2022 akan mengikuti final World Series MiniGP di Valencia Spanyol pada tanggal 29-30 Oktober 2022,” ujar Bamsoet usai membuka seri ke-4 FIM MiniGP Indonesia Series 2022, di Sentul, Bogor, Minggu (25/9/22).

Turut hadir antara lain Komunikasi dan Media IMI Pusat Dwi Nugroho, Sekum IMI DKI Jakarta Dodi Irawan, Kabid Roda Dua IMI DKI Jakarta Supriono, Keanggotaan IMI DKI Jakarta Azis Budiyanto, Promotor Lightening Harlan Fadila dan Maharani, serta sponsor Ovale Rully Habibie.

 

Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar ini menjelaskan FIM MiniGP Indonesia Series 2022 dilaksanakan sebanyak 6 seri. Untuk seri ke-5 dan ke-6 akan diselenggarakan di Sentul International Karting Circuit, tanggal 8-9 Oktober 2022. Sesuai ketentuan FIM dan Dorna Sport, para pembalap diwajibkan menggunakan tipe motor yang sama, Ohvale GP-0 160 Cc yang memiliki karakter sama dengan gaya balap di MotoGP.

 

“Penggunaan tipe motor yang sama oleh seluruh pembalap MiniGP dimaksudkan agar pembalap dari negara yang berbeda bisa mempunyai pengalaman yang sama. Sehingga para juaranya tidak semata bergantung kepada kualitas mesin kendaraan, melainkan lebih mengandalkan keunggulan teknik balap dari masing-masing pembalap muda,” kata Bamsoet.

 

 

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan Kepala Badan Polhukam KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, FIM MiniGP Indonesia Series 2022 merupakan pintu gerbang bagi para pebalap muda Indonesia menuju pentas dunia. FIM MiniGP Indonesia Series 2022 ini merupakan yang pertama kali dilaksanakan di Indonesia dan masuk dalam program Road to MotoGP dari Dorna Sports.
