Kegiatan mengajar bidang olahraga tersebut dipimpin oleh Wadanpos Ujung Karang Satgas Pamtas RI-PNG Yonif 711/Rks Sertu Ramadhan beserta 10 orang anggota lainnya di SMA YPK.
Disela mengajar olahraga, Sertu Ramadhan mengatakan kegiatan tersebut merupakan salah satu terobosan yang dilakukan anggota Satgas Pos Ujung Karang untuk membantu kesulitan pihak sekolah.
“Kegiatan sebagai tenaga pengajar yang dilaksanakan di SMA YPK Yetti sebagai bentuk kepedulian Satgas yang sedang bertugas di daerah perbatasan RI-PNG, karena ilmu sangat penting dan berguna sekali di masa yang akan datang, begitu juga dengan pendidikan yang merupakan modal dasar mencetak generasi penerus bangsa untuk meraih cita-cita khususnya anak-anak Papua, ” ucap Sertu Ramadhan.
Di tempat terpisah saat dikonfirmasi, Danpos Ujung Karang Satgas Pamtas RI-PNG Yonif 711/Rks Kapten Inf Arnol Pareta mengungkapkan bahwa mengajar pada bidang olahraga adalah salah satu bentuk kepedulian Satgas Pamtas Yonif 711/Rks dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan taraf kesehatan anak-anak di sekolah dan masyarakat di sekitarnya sekaligus ajang untuk menyampaikan pesan persatuan dan kesatuan serta untuk menjaga kedaulatan NKRI.
“Selama kegiatan berlangsung para Siswa/Siswi sangat antusias mengikuti materi yang dilatihkan oleh Tenaga Pendidik,” tuturnya.
“Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memupuk nilai-nilai Patriotisme terhadap Siswa/Siswi yang merupakan generasi penerus Bangsa,” pungkas Kapten Inf Arnold Pareta.
Sementara itu, Kepala Sekolah SMA YPK Yetti Bapak Elson (54) menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada personel Satgas Pamtas Yonif 711/Rks Pos Ujung Karang yang telah membantu pihaknya sebagai tenaga pendidik dikarenakan terbatasnya guru SMA YPK Yetti Distrik Arso Timur, Kabupaten Keerom, Papua.
