Dengan adanya perusahaan PLTU (Pembangkit Listrik tenaga Uap) dan PLTG (Pembangkit Listrik tenaga Gas) yang berada Di kecamatan Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru Seharusnya Membawa dampak Positif Bagi Masyarakat setempat, yang mana bisa membina masyarakat dan memberi peluang pekerjaan bagi masyrakat juga bisa menambah suatu perubahan ekonomi bagi masarakat yang tertuang dalam UU no 40 tentang TJSL (tanggun jawab sosial lingkungan) Namun Hal ini Bertolak Belakang dengan Kondisi yang terjadi, Pasal nya Banyaknya Laporan Dan Keluhan Bagi Masyarakat Setempat,

Di Sampaikan Oleh Beberapa Tokoh Masyarakat serta Ketua-Ketua Ormas dan organisasi di Kecamatan Tenayan Raya serta RT/RW yang ada di kecamatan Tenayan Raya menyampaikan Bahwa Banyaknya masarakat yang hanya menjadi penonton dan masarakat setempat yg masih terpuruk dalam kondisi perekonomian. Sedangkan  sudah di atur Dalam Peraturan Daerah kota Pekanbaru No 13 tahun 2018 tentang wajib menerima tenaga Kerja Lokal, Namun bertolak belakang dengan kondisi di kawasan PLTU tenayan raya.

yang lebih parahnya lagi aktifitas Kendaraan Truck pengangut Batu Bara Berlalu lalang Keluar masuk Melitasi Jalan Badak Menimbulkan Kerusakan Parah terhadap Kondisi Jalan Yang di bangun Oleh Pemerintah Kota Pekanbaru di mana jalan tersebut adalah akses satu-satunya bagi masyarakat setempat untuk melintas Beraktivitas sehari hari.

Menurut keterangan Syahrial AJ salah satu Tokoh masyarakat Tenayan yg Juga Ketua IPI (Ikatan Pemuda Indonesia) kecamatan tenayan Raya Bahwa Akses Jalan Badak mengarah Ke PLTU Sudah Amblas Sekitar 3 Meter dengan Kedalaman 4 meter dengan kondisi berlubang besar setengah badan jalan, HAL ini di duga akibat tidak Kuat menahan Mobil Truck Fuso Bermuatan Batu bara Bertonase berkisar 35 Ton angkutan Batu bara Setiap Hari nya.

Selanjutnya di sampaikan Indra Tokoh pemuda Masyarakat Tenayan, bukan Hanya dampak Kerusakan Jalan, yang parahnya lagi Bagaimana terhadap Analisa Dampak Lingkungan Dan Analisa Dampak Lalu lintas yg di timbulkan akibat Aktivitas Perusahaan yang Membahayakan Para masyarakat Pengguna jalan.

jadi kami para tokoh masyarakat menghimbau kepada pemerintah kota pekanbaru agar menindak tegas Perusahaan PLTU Tenayan Raya, karena kami masarakat juga ingin tau apakah kegiatan batu bara yg menggunakan angkutan darat sudah mendapat ijin oleh instansi terkait. karena akses jalan saat ini belom adanya pihak ke tiga yg menangani, jadi kami masarakat ingin mendapatkan penjelasan dari pemerintah kota pekanbaru tentang hal kegiatan-kegiatan industri PLTU dengan angkutan batu bara.

Merespon Hal Tersebut, Komandan satgas IPI provinsi Riau akan memblokade jalan Badak Tenayan Raya dimana tempat Mobil Truck angkutan batu bara sebelum ada perbaikan jalan, karna di kawatirkan akan terjadi kecelakaan dan jatuhnya korban di jalan tersebut.

Para Tokoh sudah Menyampaikan bahwa saat ini masyarakat sudah sangat Geram dan Resah terhadap Kondisi Jalan Amblas dan rusak parah yang di “khawatirkan menimbulkan Korban Jiwa saat melintas jalan tersebut” Sehingga Masyarakat mengambil sikap akan menuntut kepada Pihak PLTU untuk Bertanggung jawab atas segala kerusakan yang di timbulkan.

Dalam waktu dekat masyarakat akan melakukan Aksi Unjuk Rasa (Demonstrasi) Di depan Industri PLTU Tenayan Raya dan akan Menghentikan aktivitas sementara angkutan Mobil Truck Batu bara.

Di Konfirmasi oleh tokoh tokoh Masyarakat Tenayan Raya kepada Pihak PLTU untuk menyelesaikan segala Persoalan yang di timbulkan, Edi selaku salah satu Pimpinan PLTU menjawab “Silahkan demo Aksi unjuk rasa Gak apa apa” Jawabnya.,,
