JAKARTA ––  Wakil ketua Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD RI) Sultan B Najamudin mendorong Pemerintah Desa se-Indonesia melakukan terobosan kebijakan ekonomi dengan memberdayakan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) sebagai mesin penggerak ekonomi sekaligus Central inkubasi bisnis masyarakat desa.

Hal ini disampaikan Sultan saat menghadiri acara silaturahmi Nasional Asosiasi pemerintahan Desa se-Indonesia (APDESI) di Senayan Jakarta pada Selasa (29/03).

“Pada prinsipnya tidak ada desa di Indonesia yang tidak memiliki potensi bisnis dan ekonomi. Di saat yang sama dukungan fiskal dan kebijakan pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo sudah sangat berpihak pada desa, itu kekuatan dan peluang yang harus kita syukuri dan maksimalkan bersama”, ujar mantan Wakil Gubernur Bengkulu itu kepada awak media di sela-sela Silatnas APDESI pagi tadi.

Sultan mengaku pihaknya sangat mengapresiasi dukungan politik anggaran dan kebijakan pemerintahan Presiden Jokowi melalui kementerian dalam Negeri dan Kementerian Pembangunan Desa Tertinggal yang selalu konsentrasi penuh terhadap kemajuan ekonomi Desa. Dan kami percaya, apa yang menjadi harapan APDESI kepada Presiden hari ini akan menjadi komitmen bersama kami sebagai wakil daerah dan pemerintah untuk ditindaklanjuti.

Menurutnya, dengan semua potensi dan dukungan yang ada, desa berpotensi besar menjadi soko guru kemandirian dan kedaulatan ekonomi nasional khususnya di sektor pertanian, kelautan dan perdagangan. Dan Hal itu akan menjadi mungkin dengan adanya dukungan digitalisasi pasar saat ini.

“Tidak mudah untuk mewujudkan mimpi kemandirian desa, namun itu sangat mungkin jika pemerintah desa memahami masalah dan memahami trend bisnis saat ini. Kuncinya adalah pada kolaborasi dan kepiawaian manajemen BUMDes dalam berinovasi. Sudah banyak desa yang membuktikan itu”, kata mantan ketua HIPMI Bengkulu itu.

Selain itu, Sultan juga berharap agar anak muda dan lulusan perguruan tinggi untuk bersedia masuk dalam struktur pengurus desa dan mengabdi dalam manajemen BUMDes. Karena progresivitas, inovasi digital dan semangat kolaborasi ada pada diri anak muda.

“Kami ingin semangat membangun Indonesia dari pinggir yang digalakkan oleh pemerintah saat ini menjadi blue print strategi pembangunan nasional yang selalu dipertahankan oleh kepempimpinan nasional selanjutnya. Jika desa-desa kita semakin inovatif, mandiri  dan kuat maka secara otomatis ketahanan nasional kita pun akan kuat dan maju”, tutupnya.(otonominews)
