KESBANG.COM, TEMANGGUNG – Untuk pertama kalinya, Pemerintah Kabupaten Temanggung menggelar pawai kesenian dan budaya yang digelar pada malam hari di sepanjang ruas jalan wilayah perkotaan bertajuk “Temanggung Night Culture (TNC)”, Sabtu (11/11).

Kendati sempat diwarnai dengan turunnya hujan, namun acara tersebut tetap saja dibanjiri puluhan ribu penonton yang antusias untuk menyaksikan secara langsung.

Ketua Panitia Acara yang juga Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kabupaten Temanggung, Wara Andijani menjelaskan, TNC sendiri merupakan salah satu rangkaian acara yang digelar untuk memperingati Hari Jadi Kabupaten Temanggung yang ke- 183 pada tahun 2017 ini.

Terdapat 20 kelompok dengan beragam jenis kesenian dan budaya dari 20 kecamatan yang ada di Temanggung turut ambil bagian dalam perhelatan tersebut. Antara lain warokan, jathilan, gatholoco, wulangsunu, rebana, gambus, reog, topeng ireng, sandul dan zanzanen.

“Acara TNC ini diikuti oleh ribuan peserta dari 20 kelompok seni yang turut ambil bagian. Mereka berasal dari seluruh kecamatan di Kabupaten Temanggung,” jelasnya.

Wara menambahkan, tak seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, pawai kesenian serta budaya pada Hari Jadi Kabupaten Temanggung tahun ini sengaja digelar malam hari dengan alasan untuk mencari suasana baru sekaligus menarik lebih banyak animo pengunjung untuk datang.

“Semoga dengan konsep pawai malam hari ini seperti ini, lebih banyak lagi wisatawan yang datang berkunjung ke Temanggung,” harapnya.

Sementara itu, Bupati Temanggung, Bambang Sukarno berharap, dengan digelarnya pawai kesenian serta kebudayaan dari seluruh penjuru daerah seperti ini, masyarakat Kabupaten Temanggung khususnya dan pengunjung dari luar daerah pada umumnya semakin mengenal beragam khasanah budaya lokal daerah yang masih terjaga secara utuh sampai saat ini.

“Generasi muda harus mengenal berbagai budaya yang masih terus hidup di Kabupaten Temanggung. Bukan tanpa sebab, lewat budaya dan seni, kita semua bisa belajar tentang nilai maupun norma kehidupan,” pungkasnya. (van)
