JAKARTA – Keberhasilan program sosialisasi Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum akan menentukan tingkat partisipasi politik nantinya.

Khusus  bagi  warga Jakarta, Kementrian Dalam Negeri melalui Direktorat Jenderal Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum Kementrian Dalam Negeri menggelar kegiatan Pendidikan Politik Bertema “Implementasi Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 Tentang Pemilihan Umum” di Hotel Losari Jakarta, Kamis (23/11/2017).

Agar Pemilu Serentak 2019 berjalan dengan lancar di Jakarta, Direktur Politik Dalam Negeri (Dirpoldagri), DR. Bahtiar mengenalkan tentang Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Pemilihan Umum.

Dalam sambutannya, Bahtiar mengatakan, kegiatan ini yang merupakan silaturahmi dengan warga Jakarta bertujuan untuk membuka sarana dialog politik antara pemerintah pusat dengan pemerintah daerah dan warganya yang terdiri dari ormas, mahasiswa dan pemilih.

“Saya bersyukur Pilkada DKI 2017 telah berjalan dengan sukses dan aman dan berhasil memilih Gubernur baru. Kepada warga Jakarta, Bahtiar meminta agar semua kelompok kini bersatu kembali untuk membangun Jakarta,” paparnya.

Setelah usai Pemilihan Gubernur DKI, lanjutnya, Warga Jakarta akan kembali mengikuti pemilihan anggota anggota DPR RI, DPRD dan DPD dan Pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden untuk periode 2019-2024.

“Jadi akan ada 4 kotak yang harus diisi warga Jakarta di tahun 2019,” papar Bahtiar.

Pemilu merupakan alat masyarakat untuk menguji, menentukan siapa pemimpinnya baik di tingkat walikota, kabupaten hingga Presiden.  Kepada para peserta kegiatan Bahtiar meminta agar pilih lah pemimpin yang benar-benar bisa memajukan kehidupan kita. Di daerah pilkada itu lebih merupakan pertarungan uang dan bukan pertarungan orang-orang yang berkualitas. Kondisi ini bisa merusak negara dan daerah karena hubungan ditentukan oeh uang.

“Karena itu jadilah pemilih yang cerdas, pelajari programnya. Masa depan kita ditentukan oleh pemimpin yang berkualitas dan suara kita menentukan kuallitas pemimpin nantinya,”  ujar Bahtiar.

Kegiatan  yang diikuti 100 peserta dari 5 wilayah DKI Jakarta ini diikuti Ormas pemuda, ibu-ibu majelis taklim di Kecamatan Menteng, kampus dan generasi muda pemilih awal.

Nara Sumber Utama dari kegiatan ini berasal dari Direktorat Jenderal Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum Kementrian Dalam Negeri yaitu  Kasubdit Fasilitasi Pendidikan Etika dan Budaya Politik Cahyo Ariawan, Cahyo Ariawan dan Kasubdit Implementasi Kebijakan Politik, Bangun Sitohang yang berbicara tentang  Pendidikan Etika dan Budaya Politik bagi Partai Politik.
