KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Jelang Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2019 Presiden Joko Widodo meminta kepada seluruh menterinya di Kabinet Kerja untuk tetap fokus bekerja. Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri), Tjahjo Kumolo sepakat jika para menteri tetap fokus bekerja, tidak mengurus soal kampanye capres atau cawaperes.
“Pak Jokowi sudah mengingatkan kepada kami semua para menterinya untuk tetap fokus kerja sampai tuntas hingga 20 Oktober 2019 mendatang,” kata Tjahjo kepada wartawan di Kemendagri, Selasa (5/9).
Dirinya juga mengatakan jika kebijakan strategis masih bisa dikeluarkan sampai KPU menetapkan pasangan calon yang menang, pada pemerintahan sebelumnya juga kata Tjahjo kebijakan tersebut sampai Oktober. “Pak Jokowi ingin menuntaskan kerja pemerintahnya sampai benar-benar tuntas, semua kementeriannya jangan berpikir pemilu, berpikirlah untuk kerja, kalo soal pemilu itu urusan partai politik,” tegasnya.
Sebelumnya Tjahjo juga mengatakan siap melaksanakan perintah Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) yang melarang para Kabinet Kerja untuk berkampanye menjelang Pilpres 2019. Menurut dia, jabatan seorang menteri itu harus seperti TNI alias “Taat Nurut Instruksi”. “Ini enggak ada aturan, sudah tegak lurus, menteri harus TNI (Taat Nurut Instruksi) Presiden dan Wapres sudah itu saja,” kata Tjahjo di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan.
Tjahjo menambahkan, meski dirinya berasal dari partai tapi sudah diberikan amanah untuk menjadi menteri. Tentu arahanya, harus ikut Presiden. “Dimana tugas saya kalau tidak ada halangan tetap sampai 20 Oktober 2019, yah saya harus concern pada apa yang menjadi perintah tugas untuk bekerja,” ujarnya.
