Jakarta – Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum (Pol & PUM) Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) melaksanakan kegiatan “Peluncuran dan Simulasi Sistem Informasi Terpadu Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum Tahun 2022” di Hotel Millennium, Jakarta, Senin (31/1/2022). Acara ini dibuka langsung oleh Direktur Jenderal (Dirjen) Pol & PUM Kemendagri Bahtiar.

Bahtiar mengungkapkan, maksud dan tujuan pembangunan sistem ini, yakni untuk mewujudkan sistem manajemen data terintegrasi yang didukung oleh teknologi informasi. Langkah ini juga sebagai perwujudan visi digitalisasi pelaksanaan urusan pemerintahan umum di 34 provinsi dan 514 kabupaten/kota dalam satu genggaman.

Lebih jauh, adanya sistem ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai pengembangan dan implementasi teknologi informasi yang mendukung kegiatan dan proses bisnis sesuai dengan tugas dan fungsi Ditjen Pol & PUM.

“Saya mengharapkan kepada peserta untuk dapat memberikan perhatian lebih terhadap arah kebijakan di bidang politik dan pemerintahan umum serta inovasi penyusunan program dan kegiatan dalam penyelenggaraan urusan pemerintahan umum, tidak hanya di masa pandemi Covid-19, tapi juga untuk ke depannya,” tutur Bahtiar.

Selain itu, sistem ini juga hadir untuk menjawab tantangan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ini. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap penyelenggaraan urusan pemerintahan umum ke depan dapat diminimalkan. Salah satunya melalui penyesuaian pola kerja yang ditopang teknologi dan informasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan produktivitas. Melalui cara itu, diharapkan koordinasi dalam penyelenggaraan program, kegiatan, dan isu-isu strategis di lingkungan Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Kesbangpol) provinsi dan kabupaten/kota dapat dilakukan dengan cepat.

Lagi pula, menurutnya, untuk membangun hubungan kerja yang optimum dengan seluruh jajaran Kesbangpol di daerah, pihaknya tidak mungkin dapat mengunjungi 514 kabupaten/kota dalam waktu singkat secara bersamaan. (Lp)
