DPR Dalami Kesiapan Calon Panglima TNI Amankan Pilkada

JAKARTA – Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR, Meutya Hafidz, mengatakan, Komisi I DPR akan mendalami kesiapan Marsekal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto sebagai calon panglima TNI, tentang mengamankan pelaksanaan Pilkada serentak 2018, dalam uji kelayakan dan kepatutan.

“Salah satunya Pilkada, yang paling utama adalah waktunya singkat menuju perhelatan pilkada dan pemilu,” kata Hafidz, di Kompleks Parlemen, Jakarta, Senin.

Dia mengatakan, kesiapan TNI dalam membantu tugas pengamanan Pilkada harus menjadi prioritas Tjahjanto, ketika menjadi panglima TNI sehingga akan ditanyakan dalam uji kelayakan dan kepatutan.

Menurut dia, dalam uji kelayakan itu juga akan ditanyakan mengenai rekam jejak Hadi selama di institusi TNI termasuk laporan harta kekayaan.

“Tapi tetap harus konfirmasi dalam uji kelayakan terhadap dua ajang demokrasi itu,” ujarnya.

Anggota Komisi I DPR, Effendi Simbolon, menilai uji kelayakan calon panglima TNI di Komisi I DPR akan berjalan dengan lancar karena kemungkinan tidak banyak penolakan dari fraksi-fraksi di DPR.

Dia mengatakan, Tjahjanto harus tegak lurus pada politik negara dan tetap mempertahankan TNI sebagai institusi yang profesional, artinya patuh terhadap politik negara.

“Hubungan baik dengan masyarakat Indonesia dan institusi Polri sehingga harus harmonis. Kami menunjang modernisasi alutsista TNI, peningkatan daya tempur dan peningkatan kesejahteraan prajurit, termasuk kelengkapan fasilitas utk keluarganya,” ujarnya.

Simbolon mengingatkan, Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah di pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo dan Wakil Presiden, Jusuf Kalla, anggaran untuk sistem kesenjataan TNI sebesar 1,5 persen dari PDB.

Menurut Simbolon, panglima TNI yang baru harus mampu mendorong anggaran tersebut terpenuhi agar bisa penuhi syarat menimum menjalankan tugas TNI sebagai alat utama pertahanan negara dan menjaga kedaulatan. (Ant)
