TANGERANG  – Maskapai Garuda Indonesia berjanji tidak akan mengulangi keterlambatan penerbangan yang melibatkan ratusan penerbangan dibatalkan dan dijadwal ulang beberapa waktu lalu.

Direktur Utama Garuda Indonesia Pahala N Mansury dalam peninjauan di Terminal 3 Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta, Tangerang, menyebutkan sejumlah langkah akan dilakukan seperti mempercepat komunikasi dan koordinasi terkait pembatalan dan memastikan pengawasan data serta memperbaiki kualitas kinerja operasional penerbangan.

“Agar tidak terulang lagi, kita pastikan kinerja, kita sekarang dalam kondisi mengalami kesulitan maka hal-hal yg dilakukan pembatalan bisa dikomunikasikan sesegera mungkin kemudian memastikan data-data tiap hari kita monitor dan semua hal itu memperbaiki kualitas kondisi operasional,” katanya.

Pahala menjelaskan penyebab keterlambatan tersebut, yaitu penyesuaian kru dan pilot akibat banyaknya penerbangan yang terdampak penutupan Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai menyusul erupsi Gunung Agung.

Sementara itu, lanjut dia, penerbangan di Bali memegang porsi 30 persen dari seluruh operasional penerbangan Garuda Indonesia.

Dia menyebutkan kru pilot dan kabin yang terdampak penjadwalan ulang penerbangan (resdchedule) yaitu sekitar 800 orang.

“Begitu itu terjadi perlu melakukan reschedule  kru kabin dan kokpit dan perlu dilakukan bersama, sistem kami mengalami kendala sehingga puncaknya terjadi penurunan jumlah kru akibat bandara ditutup, kami kesulitan melakukan penugasan tepat pada waktunya,” katanya.

Dia juga mengatakan penjadwalan ulang terjadi berbarengan dengan pengaturan sistem teknologi informasi yang ada di internal maskapai.

“Karena penurunan kinerja sistem dan perubahan bersama,” katanya.

Dia menambahkan terkait migrasi sistem teknologi informasi, bahwa penyesuain terjadi sebelum penutupan Bandara Ngurah Rai, Denpasar.
“Kita sudah melakukan mitigasi selama periode kurang lebih 18 hari juga menjalankan operasi dengan dua sistem secara paralel, tetapi memang yang tidak bisa kita prediksikan penutupan bandara, sehingga ada perubahan jadwal yang siginifikan dan mempengaruji kinerja sistem percepatan maka pada tanggal 1 ada penurunan dan kendala oprasional penugasa kru tersebut,” katanya.

Untuk itu, ke depannya, Pahala mengatakan akan lebih mengedepankan sistem kontigensi, yakni komunikasi dan koordinasi dengan cepat terkait pengambilan keputusan baik itu penjadwalan ulang atau pembatalan penerbangan, memastikan data penumpang akurat dan meningkatkan kualitas kinerja.

“Sehingga kecepatan kita perbaiki, bersamaan kita memastikan data dalam sistem sesuai keadaan sebenanrya, dan manual kita rekonfirmasi terhadap data data yang ada,” katanya.

Pahala mengaku kerugian yang dialami akibat pembatalan penerbangan tersebut tidak signifikan.

Dalam sehari, dia menyebutkan, pergerakan penerbangan Garuda mencapai 620 penerbangan dan akibat kejadian tersebut sekitar 160 penerbangan mengalami pembatalan dalam waktu empat hari tersebut.

Dia mengklaim ketepatan waktu penerbangan (on time performance) saat ini sudah kembali normal, yaitu mencapai 97 persen.

“Tanggal 2 itu sudah mulai 60 persen dan saat ini saya cek sampai pukul 10 itu 97 persen, kita awasi terus dan mudah-mudahan terjaga sampai ke depannya,” katanya. (ant)
