Jakarta – Ditjen Dukcapil Kemendagri bertekad menuntaskan target cakupan 25% kepemilikan IKD atau KTP digital di Indonesia. Bahkan usai lebaran, Ditjen Dukcapil didukung Dinas Dukcapil kabupaten/kota se Yogyakarta langsung menggelar Dukcapil Goes to Campus di Univesitas Gajah Mada (UGM), Bulaksumur, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, pada tanggal 2-4 Mei 2023.
Menurut Direktur Pendaftaran Penduduk David Yama, untuk menyukseskan kegiatan ini Ditjen Dukcapil menggerakkan Dinas Dukcapil se-DIY. Bahkan, Kepala Biro Tata Pemerintahan Setda DIY Kanjeng Pangeran Haryo Yudanegara bakal ikut mengerahkan tak kurang 80 petugas dari Dinas Dukcapil kabupaten kota se-DIY.
“Maklum target program ini adalah civitas akademika baik mahasiswa dan dosen di ‘Kampus Biru’, jumlahnya masif bisa mencapai 60 ribu orang,” kata David Yama usai rapat persiapan via Zoom dengan para Kadis Dukcapil se-Provinsi DIY dipimpin Analis Perencana Madya, Ahmad Ridwan.
Rencananya, kata Yama, Dukcapil Goes to Campus di UGM dibuka oleh Dirjen Dukcapil Teguh Setyabudi dan Rektor UGM Prof. Ova Emilia di Balairung UGM, Yogyakarta, Rabu (3/5/2023).
Rektor UGM Prof. Ova Emilia menyambut baik program Ditjen Dukcapil Kemendagri ini, dan berjanji bakal mengerahkan seluruh warga kampusnya mendukung kegiatan pembuatan KTP digital. “Seluruh civitas Akademika UGM siap mendukung penerapan Identitas Kependudukan Digital,” ujarnya.
Menurut Yama, KTP digital menjadi solusi untuk menjawab persoalan dinamika kependudukan terjadi sangat dinamis. “Perubahan alamat, KTP-el yang hilang dan rusak membutuhkan sumber daya yang besar untuk penyediaan blangko yang mahal. Sebagai gantinya pemerintah menyediakan identitas kependudukan digital, sehingga semua dokumen kependudukan bisa disimpan dalam satu genggaman di smartphone,” kata Yama.
Menteri Dalam Negeri Muhammad Tito Karnavian terus mendorong agar Dukcapil proaktif turun ke lapangan secara berkelanjutan. “Saya mendorong Dukcapil terus jemput bola, program ini sangat bermanfaat dan dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat. Apalagi ini ke kampus dan menyasar pemilih pemula. Sekaligus, sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi hak pilih warga negara,” tegas Tito Karnavian.
Dirjen Dukcapil Teguh Setyabudi menambahkan, sosialisasi dan penerapan IKD akan terus digenjot oleh seluruh jajaran Dinas Dukcapil kabupaten/kota demi merealisasikan target aktivasi IKD pada 25% penduduk di tahun 2023. Dukcapil***
