Golkar tak Ubah Dukungan pada Jokowi

BALIKPAPAN – Wakil Ketua Dewan Pakar Partai Golkar Mahyudin mengatakan Partai Golkar tidak akan mengubah dukungan kepada Presiden Joko Widodo pada pemerintahan sekarang maupun sebagai calon presiden pada 2019 meskipun berganti ketua umum.

“Hemat saya, dari semua calon ketua umum yang mau maju bertarung, semuanya aliran yang setuju kita berada di pemerintah,” kata Mahyudin di sela sosialisasi empat pilar MPR di Balikpapan, Sabtu.

“Jadi, menurut saya, mau Airlangga, Aziz, Idrus, kalau nanti jadi ketua umum, saya kira Golkar tetap di pemerintah,” kata Mahyudin yang juga wakil ketua MPR itu.

Ketika ditanya apakah dukungan kepada Jokowi itu termasuk untuk maju lagi sebagai calon presiden pada Pilpres 2019, Mahyudin membenarkan.

“Termasuk itu di dalamnya. Kalau di pemerintah kan kita tidak bisa menaruh kaki sebelah, Golkar kan tidak bisa main munafik begitu, dukung di muka di belakang nggak. Jadi, kalau dukung pemerintah termasuk kita dukung Jokowi pada 2019,” katanya.

Menurut Mahyudin, Partai Golkar yakin Jokowi masih sangat tinggi tingkat keterpilihannya dan berpotensi besar memenangi Pilpres 2019.

“Kami yakin pada saat ini memang potensi Jokowi untuk terpilih masih sangat kuat, dan memang orangnya baik,” kata mantan bupati Kutai Timur itu.

Namun, lanjut dia, keputusan nanti ditentukan di munaslub. Sepanjang munaslub tidak mencabut dukungan Golkar untuk pemerintah yang diputuskan dalam munas dan rapimnas maka ketua umum baru pun harus melaksanakan keputusan itu. (ant)
