*JAKARTA* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo bersama jajaran Komisaris dan Direksi Parle Resto & Cafe Sonny Harsono, Robert Kardinal, Junaidi Elvis, Anton Kristanto, serta CEO Senayan Park Nio Yantony, melakukan ground breaking pembangunan Parle Resto and Cafe di kawasan mall Senayan Park (SPARK). Pembangunannya ditargetkan selesai pada akhir Agustus 2023, sehingga bisa dibuka secara resmi pada 10 September 2023, untuk semakin menyemarakan industri makanan dan minuman di Tanah Air.

“Parle dalam bahasa Perancis artinya berbicara. Parle juga merupakan penggalan dari kata Parlemen. Atas filosofi tersebut, Parle Resto and Cafe yang berada di kawasan mall Senayan Park dan berada di samping kawasan gedung Parlemen (MPR/DPR/DPD RI) akan menjadi tempat tongkrongan baru bagi para kawula muda maupun tempat ngumpul yang nyaman bagi keluarga. Selain sebagai tempat saling berdiskusi dan bersenda gurau sambil menyantap berbagai cita rasa kuliner yang lezat, dengan menikmati view danau Senayan Park yang indah,” ujar Bamsoet usai melakukan ground breaking pembangunan Parle Resto and Bar, di Senayan Park, Jakarta, Sabtu (15/4/23).

Turut hadir Jajaran Komisaris dan Direksi Parle Resto and Cafe lainnya yakni Lydia Emil dan Amel Edmil. Serta jajaran Komisaris dan Direksi PT Aryobimo Yugi Prayanto dan Josep Lumbantobing.

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, Parle Resto and Cafe akan turut mengenalkan berbagai cita rasa kuliner Indonesia, dipadukan cita rasa Western dan Asia. Sehingga bisa digunakan sebagai bagian dari kekuatan gastro diplomacy Indonesia, menggunakan kuliner untuk memperkenalkan Indonesia di dunia internasional.

“Sebagaimana diungkapkan berbagai pakar gastronomi, bahwa cara terbaik untuk memenangkan hati dan pikiran adalah melalui perut. Gastro diplomacy sebagai penunjang pariwisata, jika dimaksimalkan bisa meningkatkan citra Indonesia di mata dunia. Bahkan juga mendatangkan keuntungan ekonomi. Seperti halnya yang dilakukan Korea melalui Korean Wave, yang mampu mencatatkan pendapatan hingga USD 5 miliar dari sektor kuliner,” jelas Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, sebagaimana dilaporkan Kementerian Perindustrian, kinerja industri makanan dan minuman tetap menggeliat meski perekonomian dunia sempat terpuruk dihantam pandemi dan di tengah ketidakpastian global. Industri makanan dan minuman mampu tumbuh 3,57 persen (yoy) dan mencatatkan diri sebagai sub sektor dengan kontribusi terbesar terhadap PDB industri pengolahan non migas pada triwulan III tahun 2022, yaitu sebesar 38,69 persen.

Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) melaporkan, pada tahun 2020 saja, DKI Jakarta memiliki 5.159 usaha penyedia makanan dan minuman berskala menengah dan besar. Terbanyak diantara provinsi lainnya di Indonesia. Disusul Jawa Barat dengan jumlah penyedia makanan dan minuman mencapai 1.414 usaha, Jawa Timur 821 usaha, Banten 539 usaha, serta Riau 475 usaha

“Jumlah usaha penyedia makanan dan minuman di Indonesia berjumlah 11.223 usaha. Terdiri dari 8.042 restoran/rumah makan, 269 usaha katering, dan 2.912 usaha penyedia makan minum lainnya. Sebanyak 53,85 persen usaha penyedia makanan dan minum berada di mal, 11,76 persen usaha penyedia makanan dan minuman berada di kawasan industri, 8,11 persen di pusat kuliner dan 22,75 persen berada di lokasi lainnya. Kehadiran Parle Resto and Bar akan semakin menyemarakan industri makanan dan minuman di kawasan mall, sehingga bisa turut berkontribusi terhadap penerimaan negara dan daerah melalui pajak yang dibayarkan,” pungkas Bamsoet.
