KESBANG.COM, BANDA ACEH – Gubernur Aceh, Drh. Irwandi Yusuf M.Sc, mencanangkan gerakan membangun pendidikan berkarakter Islami di Aceh. Pencanangan tersebut disampaikan dalam peringatan Hari Pendidikan Daerah Aceh ke 58, di Lapangan Tugu Kopelma Darussalam, Kamis (7/9).

“Momentum Hardikda harus dijadikan langkah awal untuk berbenah,” ujar Irwandi dalam sambutan yang dibacakan Sekda Aceh Dermawan MM.

“Dengan semangat itu di Aceh kita canangkan gerakan membangun pendidikan berkarakter islami sehingga generasi Aceh punya watak mulia dan bermartabat dalam rangka mencerdaskan bangsa, berilmu, kreatif dan mandiri,” ujar Dermawan.

Hari Pendidikan Daerah Aceh merupakan sebuah simbol keistimewaan pendidikan di Aceh. Peringatan ini lahir berkat usaha para pejuang pendidikan Aceh di masa lalu saat mendirikan kampus Ar-Raniry, Unsyiah dan Pendidikan Teungku Chik Pante Kulu. Ketiga kampus ini dikenal dengan nama Kopelma Darussalam karenanya letaknya berada di Darussalam yang kemudian dikenal sebagai pusat pendidikan di Aceh.

Sekda meminta agar pemangku kepentingan menguatkan tonggak pendidikan sejak dini. Momentum Hardikda janganlah diwarnai upacara saja melainkan harus dijadikan sebagai upaya untuk memperbaiki diri agar pendidikan di Aceh bisa maju dan berkembang.

“Semangat bekerja keras harus dikedepankan sehingga keistimewaan tidak hanya di atas kertas tapi bisa dibuktikan dengan kualitas,” ujar Sekda.

Pemerintah Aceh, ujar Dermawan, menjadikan pendidikan sebagai salah satu program prioritas. Gubernur bahkan mencanangkan program Aceh Carong dan Islami. Kedua program tersebut di antaranya memfokuskan pada pemerataan pendidikan, mempersiapkan SDM, meningkatkan kualitas dan pemerataan penempatan guru di Aceh.

Gubernur, kata Sekda juga berkomitmen untuk menambah dana alokasi buat anak yatim. “Mudah-mudahan terlaksana dalam APBA-Perubahan ini,” ujar Sekda.

Hadir dalam peringatan Hardikda tersebut para Kepala SKPA, Kepala Biro Humas Sekda Aceh, para guru, mahasiswa, pelajar dan para santri. (Humas -Aceh)
