NAMA Heikal Safar dikenal sebagai pengusaha muda yang berada di
pusaran politik nasional. Bahkan, Heikal Safar yang pernah menjadi
politisi Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) sudah sangat akrab dan
dikenal sebagai politisi yang rendah hati, cerdas, tegas dan mampu
menjalin komunikasi yang baik dengan berbagai kalangan.

Bersama dengan Panglima TNI periode 2017-2010, Jenderal Djoko Santoso
dan tokoh-tokoh nasional lainnya, Heikal Safar mendirikan Partai
Priboemi dan menjadi Sekrtetaris Jenderalnya. Partai Priboemi
dideklarasikan di Hotel Grand Sahid Jaya, Jakarta pada 17 Agustus
2015. Ketua Dewan Pembina Partai Priboemi adalah almarhum Jenderal
(Purn) Djoko Santoso (Panglima TNI 2007-2010).

Menjelang perhelatan Pemilu 2024 mendatang, Heikal Safar memutuskan
pindah partai politik dan resmi bergabung sebagai kader Partai
Nasional Demokrat (Partai Nasdem). Bersama Ketua Umum Partai Nasdem
Surya Paloh dan para tokoh Partai Nasdem lainnya serta sejumlah tokoh
nasional, Heikal Safar hadir dalam Rapat Kerja Nasional (Rakernas)
Partai Nasdem 2022 di Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan,
Jakarta Pusat, Juni 2022.

 

Selain aktif di Partai Nasdem, Heikal sampai sekarang mesih menjabat
Sekretaris Jenderal Rekat Indonesia Raya yang dipimpin Jenderal
(Purn) Ryamizard Ryacudu (Menteri Pertahanan 2014-2019) dan Ketua
Polhukam Gerakan Persaudaraan Muslim Indonesia (GPMI).

Apa yang menjadi alasan Heikal berlabuh ke Partai Nasdem? Heikal yang
pernah mencalonkan diri sebagai Calon Walikota Bekasi pada 2017 ini
mengatakan bahwa dirinya pindah Partai Nasdem, karena Ketua Umum DPP
Partai Nasdem Surya Paloh sangat mendukung figur tokoh muda. Kata
Heikal, keputusannya hijrajh ke Partai Nasdem setelah beberapa kali
bertemu dan berdiskusi secara langsung dengan Surya Paloh.

“Saya mendapatkan tawaran dari Ketua Umum Partai Nasdem bapak Surya
Paloh untuk bergabung menjadi kader di Partai Nasdem. Bagi saya ini
merupakan panggilan jiwa dan perjuangan untuk mewujudkan Indonesia
menjadi negara yang sangat membanggakan anak cucu kita,” kata Heikal
Safar di Jakarta, Selasa (6/9/2022).

Heikal mengungkapkan bahwa hidup itu adalah perjuangan dalam
mewujudkan ibadah kepada Allah Subhanahu wata’ala. Setelah diberikan
kepercayaan menjadi kader Partai Nasdem, Heikal langsung fokus untuk
melakukan konsolidasi dengan mengajak pendukungnya di seluruh
Indonesia agar mengikuti jejaknya. Heikal mengajak pendukung Partai
Priboemi untuk ikut memenangkan calon presiden (capres) yang diusung
oleh Partai Nasdem pada pesta demokrasi yang akan digelar pada 2024
mendatang.

Adapun Nasdem menetapkan Gubernur DKI Anies Rasyid Baswedan, Gubernur
Jawa Tengah Ganjar Pranowo, dan Panglima TNI Jenderal Andika sebagai
kandidat capres berdasarkan usulan 34 DPW se-Indonesia. Dia pun ingin
berkontribusi dalam perubahan ketika bergabung di partai baru.

“Tentunya saya dalam mengambil sikap dan keputusan pindah partai sudah
sangat bulat karena sesuai dengan gagasan Ketua Umum Partai Nasdem
Surya Paloh, yang mana Indonesia saat ini sangat kapitalis liberal,”
ucap Heikal.

Keteladanan
Menurut Heikal, berpartai politik dan berpikir tentang politik adalah
bagaimana kita menguasai diri, menguasai lingkungan, bangsa dan negara
secara beradab dan terpuji. “Karena politik itu kekuasaan dan
keteladanan. Artinya memberikan manfaat untuk rakyat agar melakukan
pengabdian, tidak melakukan manipulasi, kebohongan dan pencitraan.
Karena hal Inilah yang membuat negara dan bangsa Indonesia menjadi
merosot,” kata Heikal.

Politik itu, kata Heikal, sesungguhnya menjadi landasan peradaban
untuk kemaslahatan dan bukan malah bertolak belakang, membawa
kehancuran kehidupan masyarakat atau kehidupan yang destruktif. “Nah,
ini yang harus kita ubah. Tidak bisa kita diamkan. Kita harus bangun
berpolitik yang konstruktif, berpolitik positif dan untuk mencapai
tujuan kehidupan yang maslahat bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia,”
katanya.

Di sisi lain, menurut pandangan Heikal, partai-partai politik di
Indonesia memiliki visi dan misi yang bagus. Sangat menjanjikan,
memberikan inspirasi kepada masyarakat dan ujungnya menjanjikan
kesejahteraan untuk masyarakat yang berkeadilan. “Tidak ada partai
politik yang jelek, semua partai politik bagus kalau kita membaca
AD/ART nya,” kata Heikal.

Karena itu, Heikal berharap ke depan, Indonesia harus lebih baik dan
mampu mensejahterakan masyarakat secara berkeadilan. “Indonesia harus
mampu membuat rakyatnya sejahtera, adil dan makmur. Untuk itu, memang
dibutuhkan kerja keras, kerja cerdas dan kerjasama yang bermaslahat,”
tandasnya.
