KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Menteri Luar Negeri RI Retno LP Marsudi dalam kunjungannya ke Italia mempromosikan nilai-nilai harmoni dalam kemajemukan bersama dengan Komunitas Sant Egidio, seperti disampaikan dalam keterangan pers dari Kementerian Luar Negeri yang diterima di Jakarta, Selasa.
“Kerja sama Indonesia dan Komunitas Sant Egidio telah berlangsung lama, salah satunya dengan organisasi massa Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Kerja sama ini terjalin dengan baik,” kata Menlu Retno Marsudi.
Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan Menlu RI saat bertemu dengan Komunitas Sant Egidio untuk membahas penguatan kerja sama dialog antarkepercayaan di Roma, Italia pada Senin (9/10).
Menlu Retno diterima oleh Presiden Komunitas Sant Egidio, Marco Impagliazzo dan Pendiri Sant Egidio, Andrea Riccardi.
Komunitas Sant Egidio memandang Indonesia sebagai negara di mana kemajemukan dapat hidup dengan harmonis dan demokratis.
“Saya kagum terhadap Pancasila yang mampu persatukan bangsa Indonesia yang beragam budaya dan agama,” ujar Andrea Riccardi.
Pada pertemuan tersebut, kedua pihak berdiskusi mengenai berbagai masalah di kawasan, terutama yang menyangkut isu kemanusiaan, migrasi, terorisme serta dialog antarkepercayaan, yang telah tiga kali dilakukan oleh Indonesia dan Italia.
Terkait isu di Rakhine State, Komunitas Sant Edigio menghargai diplomasi kemanusiaan yang dilakukan pemerintah Indonesia di Myanmar dan Bangladesh, karena isu Rakhine State merupakan isu kemanusiaan yang dapat memengaruhi stabilitas keamanan kawasan.
“Dialog antaragama penting untuk menjembatani hubungan antarmasyarakat. Tahun ini kita selenggarakan interfaith dialogue yang pertama kalinya dengan Myanmar dalam upaya berbagi pengetahuan dalam menghadapi kemajemukan di masyarakat,” ucap Menlu Retno.
Dalam pertemuan yang berlangsung terbuka itu, Menlu Retno dan anggota Komunitas SantEdigio juga sepakat bahwa terorisme tidak memiliki agama. Semua agama mengajarkan kedamaian.
Lebih lanjut dibahas juga bahwa dialog dan kerja sama masyarakat antaragama yang telah lama berlangsung di Indonesia merupakan salah satu contoh solusi untuk menghadapi perbedaan.
