Ini Penjelasan Kemendagri tentang Jumlah Ormas di Indonesia

KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA- Sejak kran kebebasan dibuka lebar-lebar pasca gerakan reformasi bergulir, organisasi kemasyarakatan atau ormas tumbuh bak cendawan di musim hujan. Ribuan ormas lahir memanfaatkan euforia kebebasan, setelah 32 tahun lamanya dikungkung oleh situasi politik tertutup di era Orde Baru.

Pertanyaan pun menyeruak, berapa sebenarnya jumlah ormas di Indonesia. Menjawab itu, Direktur Ormas Ditjen Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum, La Ode Ahmad Fidani, membeberkan jumlah ormas yang ada di Indonesia. Kata dia, ormas-ormas tersebut terdaftar di beberapa lembaga, seperti Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Kementerian Luar Negeri, Kementerian Hukum dan HAM, dan ada juga yang terdaftar di provinsi, kabupaten dan kota. Jumlahnya mencapai ratusan ribu. Itu yang terdata.

“Jumlah ormas, berdasarkan data sampai dengan bulan  6 Juli 2017 jumlahnya sebanyak 344.039 organisasi, ” kata La Ode Ahmad Fidani di Jakarta, kemarin.

La Ode pun kemudian merinci jumlah ormas itu terdata di mana saja. Di Kemendagri, kata dia, tercatat ada 370 ormas tidak berbadan hukum dalam bentuk Surat Keterangan Terdaftar (SKT). Sementara di Kemenlu, ada  71  ormas yang didirikan oleh Warga Negara Asing. Sedangkan yang terdata di daerah, lebih banyak lagi.

“Untuk tingkat provinsi, tercatat ada 7.226 ormas tidak berbadan hukum dalam bentuk Surat Keterangan Terdaftar (SKT),” katanya.

Sedangkan ormas yang tercatat di pemerintah daerah kabupaten dan kota, sebanyak 14.890 ormas. Belasan ribu ormas tersebut,  tidak berbadan hukum dalam bentuk Surat Keterangan Terdaftar (SKT). Sementara di Kemenkumham, ada  321.482 organisasi yang berbentuk Yayasan dan Perkumpulan.(Enhar)
