KESBANG.COM, TEMANGGUNG – Klub sepakbola junior asal tuan rumah Kabupaten Temanggung gagal menjadi juara di kandang sendiri dalam ajang Festival Sepkbola KU10 dan KU12 Kapolres Cup Tahun 2017 se- Jateng dan DIY yang digelar selama dua hari penuh, mulai tanggal 30 Sptember sampai 1 Oktober di dua tempat berbeda, Lapangan Danupayan dan Lapangan Sendang.

Untuk Kelompok Umur (KU) 10, predikat juara pertama berhasil disabet oleh SSB Tugu Muda Semarang usai di partai final mengkandaskan perlawanan SSB Garuda Muda 07 juga dari Semarang dengan skor 2-0 melalui drama adu penalti.

Sementara itu, di hari berikutnya, pada KU12, SKB Salatiga juga berhasil menjadi juara usai mengkandaskan perlawanan ekstra keras dari SSB Matra Yogyakarta juga melalui adu penalti dengan skor akhir 1-3 usai di waktu normal kedua tim hanya mampu bermain imbang 0-0.

Selain mendapatkan trophi tetap dan bergilir, para pemenang juga berhak membawa pulang uang pembinaan serta piagam penghargaan.

Kapolres Temanggung, AKBP Maesa Soegriwo mengungkapkan, digelarnya kejuaraan sepakbola junior sendiri tak lain merupakan salah satu kepeduliannya terhadap pembinaan pesepakbola cilik, khususnya di wilayah Jateng dan DIY.

Ia berharap, melalui ajang seperti ini, di masa mendatang mampu muncul sosok pesepakbola handal yang memiliki kredibilitas serta dedikasi tinggi di lapangan hijau. Ia juga berpesan agar talenta muda terus mendapat dukungan dari berbagai pihak, terutama orang tua, PSSI, dan pihak klub agar mimpi memajukan sepakbola nasional dapat segera tercapai.

“Kami ingin Indonesia mampu berbicara banyak di ajang dengan level teratas. Piala Dunia mungkin. Bisa saja asal semua pihak memberikan dukungan maksimal. Pesan saya, jangan sampai bakat-bakat cilik yang ada tenggelam di masa depan,” akunya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Panitia Penyelenggara, Hudha Sungsang Purwita menambahkan, Festival Sepakbola Junior antar SSB se Jateng DIY bertajuk Kapolres Cup 2017 ini diikuti oleh 48 klub, masing-masing 24 tim untuk setiap kelompok umur.

Mereka berasal dari beberapa kota/kabupaten. Antara lain Semarang, Magelang, Salatiga, Sleman, Bantul, Banjarnegara, Surakarta, Klaten, Boyolali, dan Temanggung sendiri sebagai tuan rumah penyelenggaraan.

“Pertandingan sendiri kami gelar secara penuh selama dua hari. Hari pertama, Sabtu kami memainkan seluruh laga untuk KU10. Sedangkan untuk KU12, kami memakai sistem yang sama di hari Minggunya. Setiap tim hanya diisi sembilan pemain dengan masing-masing babak berdurasi selama 10 menit dan menggunakan lapangan berukuran kecil karena memang yang bertanding tim junior,” pungkasnya. (van)
