seorang Pahlawan Nasional yang berjasa terhadap negara, yang menggabungkan Kerajaan Rantau Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan menjadi bagian integrasi negara Republik Indonesia di tahun 1946.
Festival Gunung Sahilan, yang sedianya diselenggarakan Januari 2021, tertunda karena pandemi Covid 19 yang sedang melanda dunia global termasuk Indonesia yang membuat terbatasnya aktivitas masyarakat di Rantau Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan. “Alhamdulillah, setelah pandemi melandai, maka perayaan tersebut siap dilaksanakan dan mengambil momentum dengan bersempena Perayaan 5 tahun Penobatan Seri Paduka yang Dipertuan Agung Raja XII Rantau Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan dengan mengadakan Pekan Kegiatan Masyarakat Festival Gunung Sahilan 2022 atau disingkat Festival Gunung Sahilan 2022, “ujar Syahrozie ketua panitia.

Festival Gunung Sahilan 2022 yang mengambil tema “Menyongsong harapan di negeri sakti Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan” ini merupakan salah satu wadah bagi masyarakat Riau, khususnya masyarakat Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan dalam memberikan alternatif hiburan yang kreatif dan bernilai ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman dan kemajuan teknologi informasi, maka Kegiatan Masyarakat selayaknya dikemas dengan baik dan produktif yang sangat diperlukan oleh masyarakat dalam bentuk pariwisata kreatif yang dapat mendatangkan potensi ekonomi untuk masyarakat, dan membantu pemerintah dalam mengembangkan pembangunan. Oleh sebab itu, dengan dilaksanakannya Festival ini dan serangkaian acara bersempena 5 Tahun Penobatan Seri Paduka Yang Dipertuan Agung Raja XII Rantau Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan, masyarakat dapat berpartisipasi dalam beraktivitas dan berkreativitas terarah dan positif dan mendatangkan potensi pariwisata yang kreatif. Festival Gunung Sahilan 2022, adalah sarana proyeksi, simulasi, promosi serta sosialisasi program-program pemerintah, korporasi swasta dan negeri serta badan/organisasi yang beroperasi di Riau, khususnya di Kampar Kiri.
“Festival Gunung Sahilan 2022, akan dikemas secara ringkas dan ringan dalam kemasan Kegiatan Akhir Pekan Masyarakat, yang terdiri dari spot dan booth edutainment yang aktif, adaptif serta edukatif, sehingga Kegiatan Akhir Pekan Masyarakat ini, mampu menggali segala potensi baik potensi tempat sebagai tujuan wisata kreatif, di Kampar Kiri, Provinsi Riau,” lanjut Syahrozie. Imbuhnya, diharapkan output dari kegiatan tersebut Kampar Kiri akan memiliki SDM bermutu, sarana dan prasarana yang mumpuni, industri yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan serta meningkatkan peran dan pertumbuhan industri jasa, pariwisata dan perdagangan.
Kegiatan ini menjalin kemitraan dan kebersamaan serta kerjasama antar lembaga/instansi, baik Pemerintah, dan
Kerajaan Rantau Kampar Kiri Gunung Sahilan sebagai institusi kearifan lokal masyarakat adat di Kampar Kiri, dan Korporasi/Perusahaan yang melakukan kegiatan usaha di wilayah Riau dan Kampar Kiri, serta memupuk semangat
kebangsaan di masyarakat untuk memperkuat ketahanan Nasional menghadapi tantangan global.
Ada pun tujuan dari penyelenggaraan kegiatan Festival Gunung Sahilan 2022,
