Jonan Janji Sampai Akhir Tahun Tarif Listrik tidak Naik

KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Ignasius Jonan menegaskan bahwa sampai akhir tahun 2017 tarif listrik tidak akan naik.

“Ya, masih berkomitmen (untuk tidak menaikkan tarif listrik), Presiden dan kita semua berusaha untuk tidak menaikkan tarif listrik sampai akhir tahun ini, jadi kalau bisa tarif listrik turun,” kata Jonan dalam keterangan resmi dari Kementerian ESDM di Jakarta, Senin.

Untuk dapat menurunkan tarif listrik, PLN diminta untuk melakukan efisiensi-efisiensi termasuk harga bahan baku sumber energi yang dipergunakan. “PLN wajib melakukan efisiensi energi, ini sudah komitmen besar dari PLN untuk melakukan efisiensi, sehingga kalau biaya produksi berubah-berubah masih bisa ditangani. Sebenarnya yang fluktuatif itu energi primer, seperti batubara, minyak, dan gas. Gas sudah kita atur sudah buat regulasi di mana harganya itu bisa dijangkau,” kata Jonan.

Selain sumber energinya Jonan juga menyarankan PLN untuk mulai mengendalikan tata kelola dan manajemen kelistrikan seperti proses pemeliharaan. “Salah satu pos yang akan terkena proses efisiensi adalah soal pemeliharaan namun bukan mengurangi pemeliharaan, tapi membuat biaya pemeliharaan menjadi lebih kompetitif dan efisien, tanpa mengurangi apa yang harus dipelihara,” kata Jonan.

Ia berpendapat pemadaman bergilir bukanlah hal yang diwajarkan kecuali faktor gangguan alam.

Selanjutnya Jonan mengatakan, pekerjaan rumah besar yang ditanggung oleh Pemerintah saat ini adalah melistriki wilayah-wilayah yang saat ini belum berlistrik yang jumlahnya mencapai sekitar 2.500 desa dan sesuai dengan arahan Bapak Presiden Jokowi, Pemerintah wajib untuk memberikan penerangan listrik kepada mereka.

“Bapak Presiden telah menerbitkan Perpres (Peraturan Presiden) untuk kita memberikan penerangan desa belum berlistrik dengan program pra elektrifikasi, penyediaan lampu surya hemat energi secara gratis. Dalam tahun ini dilakukan melalui APBN bukan PLN. Program tersebut dua tahun mestinya selesai,” ujar Jonan.

Sedangkan untuk program elektrifikasi yang permanen menggunakan jaringan PLN. Namun ia menjelaskan, jika tidak ada jaringan PLN maka akan pasang instalasi sendiri. Masih ada 10 ribu desa lagi yang listriknya tidak cukup, dan belum dialiri semua.

“Saya baru minggu lalu dari pulau Rupat berbatasan dengan Malaysia juga dari 12 ribu KK, 9.000 sudah dialiri listrik dari jaringan PLN dan PLN juga sudah berkomitmen di 2019 semua akan ada jaringan listrik. Kalau tidak ada jaringan listrik di 2.500 desa maka kami pasang solar system pake lampu dulu, dan ini prioritas pemerintah,” tegas Jonan.
