Jonan: Pemerintah Putuskan Tarif Listrik Tidak Naik

KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Pemerintah memutuskan tarif dasar listrik (TDL) tidak akan naik hingga akhir tahun 2017.

“Yang pertama pertimbangannya adalah daya beli masyarakat,” kata Menteri ESDM Ignasius Jonan ditemui di Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, pada Rabu.

Jonan berkunjung ke Istana Kepresidenan menemui Presiden Joko Widodo.

Menurut Jonan, kendati tidak menaikkan TDL, PLN akan tetap Jraih pendapatan pada 2017.

“Jadi bukan rugi lho ya, pasti masih untung. Kehilangan pendapatan itu mungkin sekitar Rp4-5 triliun. Jadi tidak apa-apa,” ujar Jonan yang menambahkan pendapatan PLN mencapai rata-rata Rp300 triliun per tahun.

Jonan juga meminta PLN agar dapat melakukan efisiensi pada biaya-biaya perawatan.

Selain itu, Jonan menyampaikan keyakinannya dengan pendapatan yang diperoleh PLN pada 2017 tidak ada pengaruh kepada megaproyek pengadaan listrik 35 ribu Megawatt.

“Tidak ada, tidak ada. Kan 35.000 Megawatt itu tidak diselesaikan sampai 2019 saja. Kan tidak mungkin bisa juga secara teknis. Jadi akan diselesaikan mungkin sampai 2023/2024,” kata Jonan.

Menteri ESDM menjelaskan pembagian pengadaan listrik 35 ribu Megawatt dibagi dua dengan swasta yaitu 25 ribu Mw dan PLN sisanya.

Dia mengatakan jika PLN merasa investasi untuk penambahan listrik 10 ribu Mw masih belum dapat dicapai, maka dia mengusulkan untuk dialihkan kepada swasta.

“Kalau memang PLN investasinya terasa berat, ya sudah diserahkan ke swasta. Nah nanti ini kita evaluasi,” ujar Jonan.

Menteri ESDM melakukan pertemuan dengan Presiden Jokowi selama sekitar 30 menit yang selesai pada pukul 16.30 WIB. (ant/foto: ist)
