KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA –  Jumlah wirausaha baru di Indonesia naik signifikan dari 1,56 persen menjadi 3,1 persen dari jumlah penduduk dalam tiga tahun Pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo dan Wakil Presiden Jusuf Kalla, kata Sekretaris Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM Agus Muharram.

Saat membuka acara Gebyar UKM Indonesia 2017 di SME Tower, Jakarta, Selasa, ia mengatakan jumlah wirausaha baru di Indonesia naik dari 1,56 persen penduduk pada 2014 menjadi 3,1 persen dari jumlah penduduk pada akhir 2016.

“Awalnya target peningkatan jumlah wirausaha per tahun hanya satu juta tapi ternyata dalam kurun lebih kurang tiga tahun sudah mencapai 3,1 persen jumlah penduduk. Ini kenaikan yang luar biasa,” katanya.

Di samping itu, kontribusi koperasi terhadap produk domestik bruto dalam tiga tahun terakhir juga naik signifikan menjadi 3,99 persen.

“Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM menargetkan angka kontribusi koperasi terhadap PDB ini bisa naik sampai enam persen pada akhir tahun 2019. Demikian juga dengan jumlah wirausaha baru diupayakan mencapai bisa mencapai lima persen jumlah penduduk, di akhir 2019,” katanya.

Pencapaian itu, menurut Agus, merupakan hasil dari kerja bersama berbagai pihak yang meliputi pemerintah, dunia bisnis, akademisi, dan para pemangku kepentingan terkait termasuk asosiasi-asosiasi.

Gebyar UKM

Gebyar UKM 2017 merupakan ajang seminar, kurasi, penghargaan bagi UKM hasil kerja sama antara Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM, MarkPlus Inc, International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Indonesia, dan Lembaga Layanan Pemasaran Koperasi dan UKM (LLP-KUKM).

“Kami selalu mendukung berbagai acara yang berupaya untuk meningkatkan jumlah wirausaha baru, memajukan UKM, dan meningkatkan peran koperasi dalam perekonomian,” kata Agus.

Ia juga mendukung tekad para pelaku UKM yang hadir dalam acara tersebut untuk go digital. “UKM tanpa IT bisa ketinggalan zaman,” katanya.

Acara tersebut digelar di 18 kota di Indonesia yakni Palembang, Palu, Banjarmasin, Solo, Batam, Semarang, Malang, Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Manado, Lampung, Medan, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Balikpapan, Makassar, Surabaya, dan Denpasar.

Para peserta acara tersebut kemudian akan menjalani kesempatan kurasi dan bagi mereka yang lolos kurasi berpeluang menjadi mitra Smesco Indonesia dan produk-produknya ditampilkan di Smesco Indonesia, yang mengelola Galeri Indonesia Wow dan Rumah Desain. (Lutfi)
