Kadivhumas Polri Jelaskan Soal Pesanan 5.000 Senjata ke Pindad

KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Kadivhumas Polri Irjen Pol Setyo Wasisto membenarkan bahwa terdapat pemesanan 5.000 pucuk senjata dari PT Pindad untuk kebutuhan Polri.

“Dari Pindad hanya sanggup lima ribu pucuk (senjata),” kata Irjen Setyo di Mabes Polri, Jakarta, Senin.

Menurutnya pembelian senjata tersebut merupakan bagian dari pengadaan 15 ribu pucuk senjata untuk mempersenjatai polisi.

Pengadaan 15 ribu pucuk senjata ini menggunakan anggaran yang sudah disetujui dalam APBN Perubahan.

“Ya betul. Itu dari APBNP,” katanya.

Ia menambahkan bahwa dari pihak Pindad hanya sanggup memberi pasokan sebanyak lima ribu pucuk senjata saja, sehingga pihaknya sedang mencari pemasok lain untuk memenuhi kebutuhan 10 ribu pucuk senjata lagi.

“Yang 10 ribu pucuk harus dicari dari luar (negeri),” katanya.

Ia menjelaskan bahwa senjata yang dibeli oleh Polri bukan merupakan senjata serbu tetapi merupakan senjata yang dapat melumpuhkan yang digunakan untuk keperluan penegakan hukum.

“Spesifikasi teknis bukan untuk senjata serbu tapi untuk melumpuhkan,” katanya.

Selain itu, dirinya juga menyinggung tentang pembelian 500 pucuk senjata yang dilakukan oleh Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN).

Ia menegaskan bahwa pembelian senjata tersebut tidak ada kaitannya dengan pembelian senjata untuk Polri.

“Tidak, itu beda lagi, jangan dikaitkan dengan yang 5.000 (senjata) untuk polisi,” katanya.

Ia menambahkan bahwa institusi non militer yang ingin melakukan pembelian senjata perlu mendapatkan izin dari Polri.

“BIN, BNN, Bea Cukai, Imigrasi, Kementerian Kehutanan, Lapas juga. Semuanya (jika hendak membeli senjata harus) izin dari Polri,” paparnya.

Setyo juga memastikan bahwa pembelian 500 pucuk senjata untuk BIN telah melalui prosedur perizinan dari Polri.

“Sudah melalui Polri,” katanya.

Ia juga menambahkan bahwa masih ada beberapa institusi lain yang berencana melakukan pengadaan senjata pada tahun ini.

“BNN sudah selesai pengadaannya, jumlahnya sampai ke BNN daerah, cukup banyak. Sudah (selesai) tahun lalu. Kemudian Satpol PP, Bea Cukai paling minta pengadaan amunisi (peluru) karena mereka (perlu) latihan,” katanya. (Ant)
