Kakanwil Sumut Gelar Dialog Publik RUU KUHP Serentak

Medan.kesbang.com.Kantor Wilayah Kemenkumham Sumut menggelar dialog publik Rancangan Undang-undang (RUU) tentang Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP).

Adapun Dialog Rancangan Kitab Undang-Undang (RKUHP) ini dilaksanakan serentak seluruh Indonesia pada hari ini Selasa (27/09/2022).

Untuk Provinsi Sumatera Utara dilakukan serentak di 3 (tiga) tempat, yakni Universitas Quality serta di Kelurahan Tanjung Selamat dan Kelurahan Mabar Kota Medan.

 

Kakanwil Kemenkumham Sumut Imam Suyudi dalam sambutannya mengatakan, saat ini pemerintah melalui Kementerian Hukum dan HAM membuka ruang dialog dengan berbagai elemen masyarakat yang menyuarakan pendapatnya dengan mengundang serta menerima masukan dari berbagai elemen masyarakat seperti, akademisi aparat penegak hukum, praktisi organisasi masyarakat, organisasi mahasiswa, tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama.

” Dibukanya ruang dialog ini, bertujuan untuk menghimpun masukan-masukan dari berbagai pihak yang menaruh perhatian terhadap RUU KUHP, untuk menyamakan persepsi masyarakat terhadap pasal dalam RUU KUHP dan sebagai pertanggungjawaban proses pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan yang dilakukan secara transparan serta melibatkan masyarakat”, ujar Kakanwil memberikan pengarahan dan bimbingannya kepada mahasiswa baru Universitas Quality.

 

Imam Suyudi menambahkan, sumbangsih pemikiran semua yang hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut akan tercatat sebagai pihak yang turut serta menyampaikan gagasan terkait pembentukan RUU tentang KUHP yang harus kita wujudkan sebagai salah satu magnum opus karya anak bangsa yang patut kita banggakan.

“Besar harapan kami kiranya Dialog Undang Hukum Publik ini dapat menghasilkan masukan masukan yang konstruktif guna menghasilkan hukum pidana yang lebih baik bagi Indonesia”, tandas Kakanwil.

Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan penyerahan plakat dan penyampaian materi Dialog KUHP oleh Kepala Subbidang Fasilitasi Pembentukan Produk Hukum Daerah Eka N.A.M Sihombing dan Fungsional Penyuluh Hukum Madya Ester Sinaga yang dipandu oleh Perancang Peraturan Perundang-Undangan Yuli Rosdiana serta foto bersama.

 

Turut hadir di Universitas Quality Kepala Divisi Pelayanan Hukum dan HAM Alex Cosmas Pinem, Kepala Subbidang Penyuluhan Hukum, Bantuan Hukum, dan Jaringan Dokumentasi Berkat Elhan Harefa, Kepala Subbidang Pengkajian, Penelitian, dan Pengembangan Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia Bram Lumban Gaol, Rektor Universitas Quality Dedi Holden Simbolon, Dekan Universitas Quality dan Mahasiswa/i Universitas Quality.

Selain itu, tampak juga perangkat Kelurahan Tanjung Mulia dan Mabar, pemuka masyarakat, karang taruna dan elemen masyarakat lainnya. (AVID)
