Medan.kesbangcom – Aksi unjuk rasa menolak kenaikan harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) rencananya akan berlangsung Selasa (6/9/2022) siang ini sekitar pukul 11.00 WIB di Medan, Sumatera Utara (Sumut).

Demonstrasi pada siang hari ini digelar oleh massa dari buruh. Diketahui kenaikan harga BBM ini berdampak kepada masyarakat, yang semakin dibuat sulit dengan adanya kenaikan harga barang-barang kebutuhan pokok.

Untuk mengawal jalannya aksi agar berlangsung aman dan kondusif, Polrestabes Medan mengerahkan personel gabungan dan juga kendaraan taktis.

“Kita berharap situasi tetap terjaga dengan keberadaan kita, agar tercipta situasi aman, tertib dan damai,” kata Kapolrestabes Medan Kombes Pol Valentino Alfa Tatareda saat memimpin apel di Lapangan Benteng Medan.

Ia mengatakan kenaikan BBM tugas kita semua menjaga keamanan dan melaksanakan pelayanan.

“Apabila terjadi aksi itu suatu kewajaran,” ucap Kombes Valentino.

Kaporestabes juga berpesan dalam pelaksanaan tugas sudah di atur dalam Perkap sehingga tidak terjadi kesalahan, serta aparat dapat melaksanakan tugasnya dengan betul – betul dan tidak berlebihan.

Mantan Dirlantas Polda Sumut ini juga berpesan dalam pelaksanaan pengamanan tidak ada yang membawa senjata api.

“Kemarin sudah ada kejadian di Siantar dan kita harus menjaga keamanan di Kota Medan,” katanya. (AVID/dd)
