Mimika – Kasatgas Binmas Ops Damai Cartenz Kombes Pol. Nanang Purnomo, S.H., M.H., menyambangi Spot Peternakan warga binaan Yulianus Mayer yang berada di Distrik Kuala Kencana, Kabupaten Mimika, Senin (03/10).

“Ini merupakan salah satu wujud program Kasuari (Kesejahteran Untuk Anak Negeri) di bidang peternakan yang telah kita berikan tanggung jawab kepada bapak Ayer dan berhasil dikembangkan,” ucapnya saat diwawancarai.

Awalnya bibit yang diberikan oleh Binmas Noken kepada warga binaannya sebanyak 5 ekor. Dan sekarang, lanjut Kombes Nanang, sudah berkembang dan anak-anaknya sudah ada dikirim ke wilayah lain untuk dikembangkan lagi.

“Spot peternakaan dalam hal ini kandang hewan yang sebelumnya hanya berada didepan pun kini sudah bertambah hingga ke belakang, artinya kita (Satgas Binmas Noken) Ops Damai Cartenz tidak sia-sia dalam memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat yang ada disini,” jelas mantan Kabid Humas Polda Kalbar itu.

 

Kombes Pol. Nanang juga berharap Spot Peternakan tersebut dapat berkembang sehingga hasilnya dirasakan oleh seluruh masyarakat yang ada di sekitarnya.

Disaping itu, Yulianus Mayer selaku warga binaan mengatakan bahwa perkembangan Spot yang ia Kelola dapat dirasakan setelah 3 tahun menekuninya.

 

“Dari tahun 2018 sampai sekarang kita telah berhasil mengembangkan hewan ternak babi sebanyak 5 ekor menjadi 54 ekor, yang mana hasilnya juga telah kami kirimkan ke Kabupaten Jayawijaya (Wamena) dan Kabupten Pegunungan Bintang sebanyak 20 ekor,” ucap Ayer.

Kendati demikian, Ayer juga berharap dapat memberikan contoh kepada masyarakat lainnya tentang bagaimana berternak hewan babi dengan baik sehinnga terciptnnya kesejahteraan di tengah masyarakat. (DC)
