SURABAYA – Ketua DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, meminta agar revisi aturan Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT) tidak sekadar lip service untuk meredam gejolak penolakan dari publik. Namun benar-benar berpihak pada kaum pekerja.
Permintaan itu menanggapi perintah Presiden Joko Widodo kepada Menaker agar merevisi dan mempermudah persyaratan pembayaran manfaat JHT.
“Saya kira perintah Presiden itu cukup menjawab keberatan publik, terutama kalangan buruh. Kita tunggu implementasinya. Yang terpenting revisi aturan JHT ini mengutamakan kepentingan buruh sebagai pemilik hak dana JHT,” papar LaNyalla, Rabu (23/2/2022).
Dilanjutkannya, revisi Permenaker Nomor 2 Tahun 2022 harus transparan dan
mendengarkan masukan-masukan para calon penerima manfaat.
“Kita harus sadari betul bahwa JHT sebenarnya hak penuh para buruh karena memang itu uang mereka. Para pekerja ini memiliki beban setiap bulannya berupa pemotongan iuran BPJS Kesehatan dan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Salah satu program BPJS Ketenagakerjaan adalah JHT. Ini perlu ditegaskan karena merupakan tabungan pekerja selama masih aktif bekerja,” kata dia.
Diketahui iuran JHT sebesar 5,7% per bulan. Sebanyak 3,7% dibayar perusahaan dan dua persen dibayar pekerja yang tertera pada slip gaji. Pekerja bisa mengetahui jumlah saldo JHT secara realtime melalui aplikasi BPJSTKU.
LaNyalla menegaskan akan terus mengawal revisi dari Permenaker tersebut sampai benar-benar berpihak pada rakyat.
“Jangan sampai mereka kesulitan dalam
menggunakan uang tabungannya sendiri,” tegasnya.
Sebelumnya, Presiden Joko Widodo meminta proses pencairan Jaminan Hari Tua yang diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Nomor 2 Tahun 2022 tentang Tata Cara dan Persyaratan Pembayaran Manfaat JHT dapat dipermudah.(Sfn)
