*TNI Angkatan Laut, Dispen Kormar (Surabaya)*. Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia (Menhan RI) Letnan Jenderal (Letjen) TNI (Purn) Prabowo Subianto resmi diangkat menjadi warga kehormatan pasukan petarung baret ungu Korps Marinir TNI AL. Pengangkatan tersebut dilakukan di Kesatrian Marinir Soetedi Senaputra Karangpilang Surabaya. Selasa (14/02/2023).

Pengangkatan Menhan RI sebagai warga kehormatan Korps Marinir tersebut dilaksanakan melalui proses Upacara Pembaretan dan Penganugerahan Brevet Kehormatan Anti Teror Aspek Laut dan Brevet Intai Para Amfibi Korps Marinir yang dipimpin Kepala Staf Angkatan Laut (KSAL) Laksamana TNI Muhammad Ali, S.E., M.M., M.Tr.Opsla dan Komandan Korps Marinir (Dankormar) Mayor Jenderal TNI (Mar) Widodo Dwi Purwanto sebagai Komandan Upacara.

Kegiatan Pembaretan tersebut sekaligus dirangkai dengan Kunjungan kerja Menhan RI ke sarang petarung prajurit Korps Marinir untuk melaksanakan inspeksi Alutsista yang dimiliki oleh Korps Marinir dan menyerahkan secara simbolis alat peralatan pertahanan (Alpalhan) hasil pengadaan Kementerian Pertahanan Pertahanan Republik Indonesia kepada Komandan Korps Marinir.

Materiil Alpalhan yang diserahkan kepada Korps Marinir meliputi kendaraan roda dua sebanyak 100 unit, senjata laras panjang kaliber 5,56 mm, senjata pelontar granat 40 mm, senjata mitraliur/sub machine gun 9 mm dan Matsus pendukung penyelam dual mode incursion.

Untuk diketahui, pengangkatan Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia Letnan Jenderal (Letjen) TNI (Purn) Prabowo Subianto sebagai Warga Kehormatan Korps Marinir serta penganugerahan Brevet Kehormatan tersebut tertuang dalam Keputusan Komandan Korps Marinir Nomor KEP/18/II/2023 tanggal 9 Februari 2023. Warga kehormatan Korps Marinir merupakan penghargaan yang diberikan kepada pimpinan atas perhatian dan kontribusinya kepada Korps Marinir TNI Angkatan Laut.

Didepan awak media Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia menyampaikan bahwa dalam waktu dekat Korps Marinir TNI AL akan dipimpin jenderal berbintang tiga dan akan segera diusulkan oleh Menhan RI kepada Presiden Republik Indonesia.

“Marinir aauuh..aaauh..aauuh yes, Saya berpesan kepada seluruh Prajurit Petarung Korps Marinir Pertahanan Tanah Air Kita sampai titik darah yang terakhir.” Pekik Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia Letnan Jenderal (Letjen) TNI (Purn) Prabowo Subianto.

Pengangkatan Warga Kehormatan Korps Marinir tersebut dihadiri, para Komandan Korps Marinir dari masa ke masa, Para Pejabat Utama Korps Marinir dan Para Pimpinan Kotama TNI AL di Wilayah Surabaya
