JAKARTA – Kejaksaan Agung (Kejagung) Republik Indonesia memastikan tidak ada eksekusi mati pada 2017 karena terkendala faktor yuridis.

“Sebenarnya saya sudah gatal ingin melakukan itu (eksekusi),” kata Jaksa Agung HM Prasetyo di sela Rapat Kerja Nasional (Rakernas) Kejaksaan RI, di Jakarta Selatan, Selasa.

Ia menjelaskan faktor yuridis yang menjadi kendala untuk melaksanakan eksekusi mati jilid IV itu, banyak terpidana mati bisa mengajukan grasi tanpa ada batas waktu atau melakukan upaya Permohonan Kembali (PK) berulang kali.

Dikatakan, persoalan teknis tidak ada masalah dan pihaknya siap melaksanakan. “Kalau teknis gampang saja, tinggal di dor saja,” katanya.

Sepanjang 2015-2016, Kejagung telah melaksanakan eksekusi terhadap 18 terpidana mati yang terbagi dalam tiga tahap atau jilid.

Jilid 1, Andrew Chan dan Myuran Sukumaran (WN Australia anggota Bali Nine), Raheem Agbaje Salami, Sylvester Obiekwe Nwolise, Okwudili Oyatanze (WN Nigeria), Martin Anderson (Ghana), Rodrigo Galarte (Brasil) dan Zainal Abidin (Indonesia).

Jilid 2, sebanyak enam terpidana mati, yakni, Ang Kiem Soei (WN Belanda), Marco Archer (Brasil), Daniel Enemuo (Nigeria), Namaona Denis (Malawi), Rani Andriani (Indonesia) dan Tran Bich Hanh (Vietnam). Kesemuanya kasus narkoba.

Jilid 3, sebanyak empat terpidana mati, Freddy Budiman (WN Indonesia), Seck Osmane (Nigeria), Humprey Jefferson Ejike (Nigeria) dan Michael Titus Igweh (Nigeria). (endi/ant)
