JAKARTA –  Direktorat Jenderal Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum Kemendagri menyelenggarakan Rapat Fasilitasi Penguatan Kelompok Kerja Demokrasi di Provinsi Banten pada 4 Desember 2017.

Kegiatan yang diadakan di  Le Dian Hotel Serang Banten ini menghadirkan narasumber yaitu Dewan ahli Indeks Demokrasi Indonesia (IDI) Prof. Dr. Syarif Hidayat, Kabid Statistik BPS Prov Banten, M. Muhanif, Kabid Poldagri Kesbangpol Prov Banten, Gustiawan, dan Kasubdit Fasilitasi Lembaga Pemerintahan Dan Perwakilan, Dedi Taryadi.

Peserta kegiatan ini sebanyak 80 orang terdiri dari anggota pokja IDI Pov Banten dan Stakeholders terkait.

Menurut Dedi Taryadi, penguatan Pokja IDI sebagai satu kebutuhan mendasar untuk memperkuat fungsi koordinasi Dan sinergitas antar stakeholders.

“IDI melihat substansi demokrasi dari dua sisi, yaitu negara dan masyarakat. Jadi pelembagaan demokrasi harus melibatkan dua sisi tersebut sehingga tercipta demokrasi secara substansial,” papar Dedi.(Zul)
