Keseriusan pemerintah Kembangkan Labuhan Bajo sebagai Destinasi Super Prioritas

Pemerintah menunjukkan keseriusannya dalam mengembangkan Labuan Bajo di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) sebagai lima destinasi super prioritas di Indonesia. Presiden Joko Widodo menyebut penataan kawasan dan infrastruktur pendukung pariwisata Labuan Bajo sudah mulai dilakukan dalam dua tahun terakhir.

Hal tersebut disampaikan Presiden dalam keterangannya seusai meresmikan dan meninjau penataan kawasan di Pulau Rinca, Taman Nasional Komodo, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, Kamis, 21 Juli 2022.

“Dari penataan di Pulau Rinca, kemudian penataan di pelabuhan lama di Marina, kemudian juga infrastruktur jalan yang dilebarkan, dan juga ada yang diperpanjang, kemudian juga memperpanjang _runway,_ dan memperluas terminal _airport_ Komodo,” ujar Presiden.

Dari pengembangan tersebut, utamanya dengan adanya perluasan bandara, Presiden menargetkan wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Labuan Bajo minimal mencapai satu juta orang. Kepala Negara mengatakan, target tersebut akan naik apabila proyek perpanjangan landasan pacu _(runway)_ Bandar Udara Komodo telah selesai.

“Kalau nanti _runway-nya_ sudah diperpanjang, _wide body_ bisa masuk, (target wisatawan) naik lagi ke 1,5 juta (orang). Saya sudah sampaikan ke Menteri Pariwisata Pak Sandiaga Uno,” tambahnya.

Selanjutnya, Presiden mengingatkan bahwa pemeliharaan kawasan merupakan tanggung jawab semua pihak mulai dari pemerintah pusat, dalam hal ini Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, hingga gubernur dan bupati. Kawasan yang terpelihara dengan baik, menurut Presiden, akan menjadi salah satu nilai tambah bagi wisawatan untuk berkunjung kembali ke Labuan Bajo.

“Jangan sampai sampah bertebaran di mana-mana. Hal kecil-kecil tapi itu hati-hati, itu akan dilihat oleh turis, oleh wisatawan nusantara. Dia kembali atau tidak karena itu, salah satunya karena hal-hal itu. Keramahan kita dalam melayani wisatawan itu juga sangat penting,” lanjutnya.

Terkait habitat hewan Komodo sebagai tempat wisata, Kepala Negara menjelaskan bahwa pemerintah berupaya untuk melakukan konservasi habitat Komodo di Pulau Komodo dan Pulau Padar. Apabila wisatawan ingin melihat langsung hewan endemik tersebut, Presiden menyarankan para wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke Pulau Rinca.

“Yang untuk wisatawan diberikan di Pulau Rinca, sehingga ini kita benahi untuk wisatawan dan juga untuk komodonya. Komodo di Pulau Rinca dan komodo di Pulau Komodo itu komodonya sama, wajahnya juga sama. Jadi kalau mau lihat komodo silakan ke Pulau Rinca, di sini ada komodo,” jelas Presiden.

Untuk tarif masuk, Presiden menuturkan bahwa tarif yang dikenakan kepada wisatawan masih sama untuk di Pulau Rinca, sedangkan untuk di Pulau Komodo dan Pulau Padar akan dikenakan tarif yang berbeda.

“Mengenai bayarnya berapa, tetap. Tetapi kalau mau ‘Bapak saya pengin sekali pak lihat yang di Pulau Komodo’ ya silakan enggak apa-apa juga, tapi ada tarifnya yang berbeda,” tuturnya.

“Itu sebenarnya hanya simpel seperti itu jangan dibawa ke mana-mana. Karena pegiat-pegiat lingkungan, pegiat-pegiat konservasi juga harus kita hargai mereka, masukan mereka,” tandasnya.
