*JAKARTA* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) dan Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo dan politisi Maruara Sirait bersama keluarga besar IMI memberikan santunan masing-masing satu juta rupiah kepada 200 anak yatim lintas agama, yakni Islam, Katolik, Protestan, Budha, Hindu, dan Konghucu. Langkah ini dilakukan keluarga besar IMI, selain sebagai wujud toleransi juga karena para anak yatim dari berbagai agama juga memerlukan bantuan dan perhatian.

“Selain menjadi rumah bagi para pecinta olahraga dan mobilitas otomotif, IMI juga harus menjadi rumah bagi para anak yatim dari berbagai agama. Jika biasanya kelompok agama memberikan santunan kepada anak yatim dari kalangan internal agamanya sendiri, IMI berusaha menembus sekat-sekat perbedaan agama tersebut. Langkah ini juga untuk menggugah kesadaran kebangsaan kita, sekaligus menunjukan kepada para anak yatim bahwa mereka masih memiliki saudara sebangsa yang peduli terhadap mereka. Walaupun tidak satu dalam keimanan, namun kita satu dalam kemanusiaan dan satu dalam kebangsaan,” ujar Bamsoet saat buka puasa bersama dan santunan anak yatim lintas agama, di Kantor Pusat Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) di kawasan Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Senin (17/4/23).

Pengurus IMI Pusat hadir antara lain Dewan Pembina Robert Kardinal, Komjen Pol (Purn) Nanan Soekarna dan Maruara Sirait, Wakil Bendahara Umum BPP HIPMI Joshua Sirait, Wakil Ketua Umum M Riyanto, Ananda Mikola, Rifat Sungkar dan Junaidi Elvis, Bendahara Umum Iwan Budi Buana serta pengurus IMI lainnya.

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, pemberian santunan terhadap anak yatim lintas agama ini juga sebagai bentuk realisasi hablum minannas (meningkatkan hubungan harmonis manusia dengan manusia), di tengah suasana puasa yang merupakan bagian dari hablum minallah (meningkatkan hubungan manusia dengan Allah).

“Santunan terhadap anak yatim piatu ini bukanlah sekadar acara seremonial yang menjadikan mereka sebagai objek. Melainkan sebagai bentuk uluran tali kasih kita kepada mereka yang merupakan bagian dari generasi penerus bangsa. Sekaligus uluran tali sayang kita kepada mereka, bahwa walaupun orang tuanya telah tiada, mereka masih memiliki kita semua sebagai saudara seiman sekaligus saudara sebangsa dalam bingkai kasih sayang kemanusiaan,” jelas Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, menurut laporan Global Minimum Estimates of Children Affected by Covid-19-Associated Orphanhood and Deaths of Caregivers: A Modelling Study, sejak 1 Maret 2020 hingga 30 April 2021, secara global diperkirakan ada 1.562.000 anak kehilangan setidaknya satu orang tua yang meninggal karena Covid-19. Sementara di Indonesia, Litbang Kompas memperkirakan per 17 Agustus 2021, akibat pandemi Covid-10, terdapat 30.912 anak Indonesia yang menjadi yatim/piatu/yatim piatu.

“Pemerintah harus senantiasa memberikan perhatian serius kepada anak-anak yang menjadi yatim/piatu/yatim piatu. Selama ini keberadaan mereka seperti luput dari perhatian. Pemerintah melalui kementerian sosial bisa mulai mendata by name by address, siapa saja anak Indonesia yang menjadi yatim/piatu/yatim piatu. Bantuan dari pemerintah terhadap mereka sangat diperlukan, agar masa depan mereka tidak terganggu. Dari segi pendidikan, misalnya, pemerintah bisa memaksimalkan Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) hingga Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) menjadi salah satu jalan keluar,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
