*JAKARTA* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo mengungkapkan bahwa komunitas otomotif juga turut merayakan Hari Batik Nasional 2 Oktober melalui beragam kegiatan. Salah satunya dilakukan Vespakita yang pada tahun ini kembali menyelenggarakan Batik Nation Ride 2022 di enam kota besar di Indonesia, yakni Jakarta, Palembang, Solo, Bandung, Majalengka, dan Purwokerto. Mengangkat tema besar ‘Bervespa, Berbagi, dan Berbudaya’.
“Untuk di Jakarta, Batik Nation Ride 2022 diikuti sekitar 500 scooterist dari sekitar 50 komunitas vespa, dengan mengadakan sunday morning ride menggunakan baju batik. Start dari Black Stone Garage di Jalan Hang Jebat 1A, dengan dilepas langsung Direktur Operasional BOS Production selaku pengelola Black Stone Garage Djoko Iman Santoso, para scooterist kemudian menuju daerah Patiunus, Senayan, Kemenpira, Gatot Subroto, Soedirman, putar balik di Bunderan HI, dan finish di Sky Lounge Plaza Semanggi,” ujar Bamsoet di Jakarta, Senin (3/10/22).
Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, selain kumpul bareng memasyarakatkan batik di kalangan pecinta otomotif, kegiatan Batik Nation Ride 2022 juga diisi dengan ragam hiburan musik, live painting Vespa, dan charity untuk RS Jantung Harapan Kita. Serta memberikan makanan gratis bareng Vespa 60s Jabodetabek.
“Sebagai rumah besar bagi para komunitas otomotif dengan merangkul berbagai ekosistem otomotif yang ada di Indonesia, Black Stone Garage telah menjadi hub otomotif yang mensupprot sekaligus menyelenggarakan berbagai kegiatan. Seperti yang dilakukan dengan mendukung Hari Batik Nation Ride 2022, sebagai bentuk kepedulian Black Stone Garage terhadap kegiatan komunitas otomotif sekaligus memajukan kebudayaan bangsa melalui batik,” jelas Bamsoet.
Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menerangkan, pada 2 Oktober 2009, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) menetapkan batik sebagai warisan budaya tak benda manusia (Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) karena kaya dengan simbol dan makna filosofi kehidupan manusia. Jadi yang dinilai lebih kepada proses pembuatannya, dari mulai pembuatan malam (lilin), pewarnaan, sampai pelepasan lilin dari kain.
“Batik khas Indonesia berbeda dengan Batik Printing asal China yang langsung dicetak mesin, tanpa proses filosofis dalam proses pengerjaannya. Jika dunia melalui UNESCO saja sudah mengakui batik Indonesia, maka kita pun juga harus menghargainya dengan membeli dan memakai batik yang diproduksi oleh pengrajin Indonesia,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
