*BOGOR* – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo menuturkan dengan dukungan Executive Chairman MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo, IMI mendukung dan akan turut berkontribusi dalam pembangunan Sirkuit Multi Track dan Motorsport Ecosystem di lahan seluas 141,7 hektar di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) MNC Lido City.
Dari 3 ribu hektar lahan terintegrasi yang dimiliki MNC Lido City di Kabupaten Bogor dan Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat, sebanyak 1.040 hektar telah masuk dalam Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Pariwisata dan Industri Kreatif berdasarkan PP No.69/2021. KEK MNC Lido City telah diresmikan Presiden Joko Widodo.
“Areal Motorsport Ecosystem di dalam kawasan KEK MNC Lido City tersebut akan dikembangkan untuk menggairahkan industri olahraga otomotif Indonesia. Antara lain dengan membangun sirkuit balap bertaraf internasional yang bisa digunakan untuk MotoGP dan Formula 1. Serta sirkuit balap internasional untuk MXGP hingga berbagai kegiatan balap offroad lainnya. Kehadirannya akan melengkapi berbagai destinasi wisata yang ada di KEK MNC Lido City, sehingga bisa menarik lebih banyak wisatawan dalam dan luar negeri,” ujar Bamsoet usai mendampingi Presiden Joko Widodo dan Executive Chairman MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo meresmikan Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) MNC Lido City, di Bogor, Jumat (31/3/23).
Turut hadir antara lain, Menteri Koordinator Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto, Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi, Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang Marsekal TNI (purn) Hadi Tjahjanto, Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Gubernur Jawa Barat Ridwan Kamil, Walikota Bogor Bima Arya, serta Plt Bupati Bogor Iwan Setiawan.
Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, kehadiran Motorsport Ecosystem akan memperkuat KEK MNC Lido City. Sehingga tidak hanya menyiapkan fasilitas entertainment hospitality berkelas dunia, melainkan juga menyiapkan sport automotive tourism berkelas dunia. Potensi marketnya juga sangat besar. Jangankan dari luar negeri, melainkan juga dari dalam negeri.
“Sebagai gambaran, setiap pagelaran F1 di Singapura, Singapore Tourism Board (STB) selalu menargetkan sedikitnya lima ribu penonton dari Indonesia. Sementara Corporation Communication Officer Sirkuit Sepang, Malaysia mencatat, dari kisaran 130 ribu penonton F1 di Malaysia, 6 ribu diantaranya berasal dari Indonesia. Pada saat MotoGP di Mandalika tahun 2022 lalu, Dorna Sport melaporkan jumlah penonton yang datang langsung mencapai 102.801 penonton,” jelas Bamsoet.

Serta Lido Music and Arts Center yang merupakan World Class Outdoor venue pertama di Indonesia untuk penyelenggaraan berbagai festival musik dan seni nasional serta internasional.
