*BALI* – Ketua MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo optimistis perekonomian Bali yang terpuruk dalam akibat pandemi Covid-19 selama dua tahun terakhir bisa kembali pulih. Terus bertambahnya turis domestik dan asing yang datang ke Bali diyakini akan mempercepat recovery ‘Bali Bangkit’.

“Berbagai bidang usaha di Bali juga mulai menggeliat. Tren positif pertumbuhan pariwisata saat ini, harus dioptimalkan sebaik-baiknya oleh para pelaku pariwisata di Bali sebagai momentum kebangkitan dan pemulihan perekonomian nasional pasca pandemi,” ujar Bamsoet usai mengunjungi Restoran Sunshine 88 di kawasan Kedonganan, Jimbaran BaliBali, Sabtu (17/9/22).

 

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 sekaligus mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, berdasarkan data Dinas Pariwisata Bali, tercatat saat ini jumlah wisatawan asing yang datang ke Bali rata-rata mencapai 9.000 orang per hari. Sedangkan, jumlah maskapai yang melayani penerbangan ke Bali sekitar 23 maskapai.

 

“Pemerintah sendiri telah memberikan fasiltas visa on arrival kepada 72 negara yang ingin berkunjung ke Bali. Tidak ada salahnya apabila pemerintah menambah lagi jumlah negara yang bisa mendapatkan fasiltas visa on arrival serta membebaskan beberapa negara dari biaya visa kunjungan wisata ke Bali,” kata Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar sekaligus Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menambahkan, jumlah kunjungan wisatawan asing sebesar 9.000 per hari, jumlahnya masih jauh dibandingkan sebelum pandemi. Saat normal sebelum pandemi, wisatawan asing yang datang ke Bali bisa mencapai 20.000 hingga 25.000 per hari.

 

“Jumlah wisatawan domestik yang datang ke Bali juga terus meningkat. Saat ini tercatat wisatawan domestik mencapai 15.000 per hari. Puncak kunjungan wisatawan domestik tercatat pada saat libur lebaran yang mencapai 18.000 hingga 20.000 per hari. Kita harapkan jumlah wisatawan asing dan domestik ke Bali bisa terus meningkat seiring telah menurunnya pandemi Covid-19,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
