JAKARTA – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo menuturkan IMI akan segera meluncurkan stasiun televisi bernama IMI TV. IMI TV dibuat sebagai salah satu sarana untuk mensosialisasikan dan menginformasikan beragam kegiatan otomotif nasional dan internasional. Mulai dari berita, edukasi, hobby, event balap hingga komunitas.

“IMI TV akan menjadi salah satu media utama kegiatan otomotif di Indonesia. IMI TV akan muncul di berbagai platform media yang tersedia. Diawali dengan IMI TV di platform digital Youtube, disusul kemudian Free To Air TV dan OTT platform,” ujar Bamsoet usai menerima pengurus IMI Pusat di Jakarta, Rabu (7/6/23).

Pengurus IMI Pusat hadir antara lain Bendahara Umum Iwan Budi Buana, Wakil Ketua Umum M Riyanto dan Junaidi Elvis, serta Komunikasi dan Media Sosial Dwi Nugroho. Hadir pula CEO Brand Media Indonesia Bimo Setiawan.

Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan mantan Ketua Komisi III DPR RI bidang Hukum, HAM, dan Keamanan ini menjelaskan, IMI TV direncanakan mengudara perdana di bulan Agustus 2023. Konten IMI TV antara lain IMI Update berisi berita dan liputan beragam kegiatan otomotif; Kopdar Komunitas yang berisi kegiatan serta channel komunitas otomotif, baik roda dua ataupun empat; Clasic Car Review yang mengulas tentang mobil-mobil klasik; Bambang Soesatyo Channel serta Ngebengkel yang berisi info bengkel dan montir.

“Materi konten IMI TV pastinya akan sangat beragam. Mengingat ada sekitar 7.398 club otomotif yang merepresentasikan sekitar 110.000 road users di 34 provinsi yang tergabung dalam keluarga besar IMI. Dalam tataran organisasi, IMI memiliki sekitar 5.210 sport clubs, 838 mobility clubs, dan 1.350 sport and mobility clubs,” kata Bamsoet.

Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar dan Kepala Badan Hubungan Penegakan Hukum, Pertahanan dan Keamanan KADIN Indonesia ini menambahkan, IMI TV juga memiliki konten live streaming event yang akan menyiarkan secara langsung kejuaraan nasional ataupun internasional balap motor, mobil ataupun speedboat. IMI TV akan menggandeng para konten kreator serta influencer dari kalangan pembalap ataupun artis ternama untuk membuat konten-konten terkait dunia otomotif.

“Selain IMI TV, saat ini IMI juga telah memiliki IMI Radio yang bisa diakses di frekuensi 96.7 FM. IMI Radio juga bisa diakses melalui streaming di website hingga Spotify. IMI Radio merupakan saluran radio yang memadukan sport and edutainment. Menyajikan dunia hiburan radio sekaligus memberikan informasi dan pendidikan yang berkualitas bagi para pecinta otomotif di berbagai daerah,” pungkas Bamsoet. (*)
