JAKARTA – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo kembali meluncurkan dua judul buku bertepatan dengan hari ulang tahunnya ke-60, tanggal 10 September 2022. ‘Meniti Buih di Antara Karang’ menjadi judul buku yang menandai 60 tahun perjalanan hidup Bamsoet, sebagai sosok politisi dan pengusaha. Bamsoet juga membukukan ratusan opini yang ditulisnya di berbagai media massa sepanjang lima belas tahun terakhir selama menjadi anggota DPR RI dalam lima seri buku berjudul ‘Bunga Rampai Opini Bambang Soesatyo 2007-2022’.
“Buku ‘Meniti Buih di Antara Karang’ banyak memuat kisah kehidupan saya yang jarang terekspos di publik. Dari mulai kisah saat remaja, hingga perjalanan karir saya sebagai wartawan, pengusaha, dan politisi. Dalam buku ini juga banyak memuat testimoni dari para sahabat, termasuk dari Presiden Joko Widodo dan Wakil Presiden KH Ma’ruf Amin,” ujar Bamsoet saat launching buku ‘Meniti Buih di Antara Karang’ dan ‘Bunga Rampai Opini Bambang Soesatyo 2007-2022’, di Black Stone Garage (IMI Lounge) di Jakarta, Sabtu (10/9/22).
Turut hadir antara lain, Duta Besar Maroko untuk Indonesia H.E Mr. Ouadiâ Benabdella dan Group CEO Asia Cargo Network (Black Stone Airline) Marco Isaak. Jajaran BOS Production sebagai pengelola Black Stone Garage antara lain Direktur Utama Hendra Noor Saleh, Direktur Operasional Djoko Iman Santoso, serta Manager Marcom sekaligus Project Manager Bostixx Saras Shintya Putri Soesatyo. Hadir pula berbagai komunitas otomotif seperti Hogers Indonesia, Motor Besar Club Indonesia, Motoladies Indonesia, Anak Elang Indonesia, Motor Besar Club Indonesia dan VW Beatle Club Indonesia.
Dalam testimoninya, Presiden Joko Widodo mengapresiasi peran Bamsoet dalam mewarnai perpolitikan nasional. Bersama pimpinan MPR yang lain, Bamsoet membuat lembaga MPR menjalankan beberapa agenda penting. Selain terus memantapkan Pancasila dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara, MPR juga mengkaji substansi dan bentuk hukum pokok-pokok haluan negara, serta mengembangkan kerjasama internasional dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan global.
“Selain perannya dalam perpolitikan saya juga mengapresiasi kontribusi Pak Bambang dalam berbagai kegiatan sosial dan hobi. Melihat usia beliau yang sudah menginjak 60 tahun, dengan aktivitas politik dan hobi yang sangat padat, Pak Bambang termasuk dalam katagori ‘the young-old’. Walaupun sudah berusia 60 tahun, tetapi Pak Bambang masih bugar dan bersemangat, serta sangat aktif berkontribusi dalam karier maupun peran di masyarakat,” ujar Jokowi.
Sementara, Wakil Presiden KH Ma’ruf Amin menceritakan dirinya tidak pernah melupakan saat diminta Bamsoet mengenakan rompi khas anak motor pada acara ‘Riding Kebangsaan dan Grand Final Cerdas Cermat Empat Pilar’, di Kompleks MPR RI, Jakarta, sekitar akhir Februari 2020. Padahal, dalam keseharian Abah, panggilan akrab Bamsoet kepada Wapres KH Ma’ruf Amin, selalu mengenakan sarung dan jas.
ÿ”Inilah pertama kali dalam hidup Abah mengenakan rompi khas anak motor. Ini demi Pancasila, demi Empat Pilar MPR RI, demi para bikers Indonesia. Abah sempat juga menggeber-geber gas motor. Itulah, hari yang sangat mengesankan Abah dengan Mas Bamsoet, yang Abah ketahui penyuka otomotif, dan banyak koleksi mobil klasik, maupun motor gedenya,” kata Wapres KH Ma’ruf Amin.
Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani menilai Bamsoet sebagai seorang politisi yang selalu aktif dalam mengartikulasikan tugasnya sebagai anggota DPR RI. Berbagai tugas DPR RI telah dilaksanakan secara konstitusional melalui kerja sebagai anggota komisi, pansus, bahkan menjadi ketua DPR RI.
“Mas Bamsoet merupakan seorang yang memahami fatsun politik. Cara bicaranya, walau sering penuh canda, namun tetap santun, dan hati-hati. Dalam mengelola berbagai kepentingan politik yang menjadi dinamika di DPR RI maupun di MPR RI, Mas Bamsoet juga terlihat mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip yang taat aturan, taat azas, dan selalu menjaga adab,” puji Puan.
Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Airlangga Hartarto memaparkan, Bamsoet merupakan salah satu kader terbaik Partai Golkar dan taat azas. Bamsoet dan Airlangga pernah sama-sama maju bersaing memperebutkan Ketua Umum Partai Golkar beberapa waktu lalu. Keduanya bertanding untuk bersanding. Terbukti, Bamsoet hingga saat ini menjadi bagian dari kepemimpinan Airlangga sebagai Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar. Dari mulai periode pertama saya menjabat sebagai Ketua Umum Partai Golkar hingga saat ini
Ketua KPK Komjen (Pol) Firli Bahuri menegaskan Bamsoet selalu memberi perhatian khusus terhadap upaya pencapaian zero korupsi di Indonesia. Ini bisa dibaca dari opini ataupun statemen Bamsoet di media massa. Salah satu gagasan Bamsoet yang bernas adalah ‘bagaimana agar KPK menggalakkan fungsi pencegahan dalam menyelamatkan keuangan negara’.
“Saya mengenal Bamsoet sebagai seorang teman diskusi yang mengasyikan, sejak Beliau menjabat sebagai Ketua Komisi III DPR RI, Ketua DPR RI hingga saat ini sebagai Ketua MPR RI. Termasuk diskusi untuk masalah serius soal kebangsaan dan kenegaraan.,” ujar Firli.
Kepala Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN) Jenderal Pol (P) Budi Gunawan, mangatakan
Perjalanan hidup Bamsoet merupakan potret pengabdian terbaik seorang warga negara. Bahkan selama Pandemi Covid-19 Bamsoet aktif mendorong berbagai kalangan termasuk Badan Intelijen Negara untuk mempercepat program vaksinasi Covid-19 ke berbagai lapisan kalangan masyarakat.
Panglima TNI Jendral Andika Perkasa mengenang Bamsoet sebagai sosok yang “extrovert” dan “people oriented” membuat-nya dikelilingi banyak teman dan dengan berjalan-nya waktu menjadi semakin “well connected”. “Saya tidak bisa menyatakan secara pasti kemana masa depan Mas Bamsoet akan mengalir. Tapi yang pasti potensi Mas Bamsoet akan semakin membesar dengan berjalan-nya waktu ke masa depan,” tuturnya.
KAPOLRI Jenderal Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo menuturkan sejak menjabat Ketua Komisi III DPR RI perhatian Bamsoet pada Polri sangat besar. Selain mengkritisi hal-hal yang dirasakan masih kurang di jajaran Polri, Bamsoet selalu memberi solusi dan penuh gagasan. “Bagi saya pribadi, Bamsoet adalah sosok pemimpin yang solutif. Selalu memberikan saran dan menyampaikan masukan,” ujarnya.
Gubernur Bank Indonesia (BI) Perry Warjiyo, menceritakan tentang sosok Bamsoet. “Jika ingin jadi politisi, tirulah Bamsoet. Semua diraih by process. Tidak ada yang dilakukan secara instan. Kerja keras, kerja cerdas, dan tekadnya yang pantang menyerah saya kira jadi kunci sukses. Tentu tidak terlepas dari kepintaran mengatur strategi, agar tetap berada di orbit, terjaga elektabilitas dan popularitasnya. Bamsoet berhasil mengkombinasikan semua potensi yang ada pada dirinya, dengan peluang saat berjuang di lapangan. Kunci lainnnya adalah kemampuan membangun jaringan. Bamsoet ada di mana-mana, di nyaris semua organisasi. Jika bukan pengurus, Ia selalu berusaha agar terkoneksi ke sana. Saya menilai Bamsoet juga mampu memaksimalkan fungsi positif media sosial.
