JAKARTA – Kemendagri lewat Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Dukcapil) mengubah e-KTP berupa fisik cetak menjadi Identitas Digital. Aplikasi itu memuat data diri yang hanya bisa diakses pemilik lewat kode verifikasi (PIN), NIK, dan foto wajah.

Dirjen Dukcapil Kemendagri, Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, SH, MH., menerangkan, dengan identitas digital akan mempermudah dan mempercepat transaksi pelayanan publik atau privat dalam bentuk digital.

Dirjen Zudan menjamin data yang tersimpan dalam Identitas Digital aman karena dilakukan verifikasi berlapis.

“Insya Allah data kita aman. Seperti rekan-rekan memiliki mobile banking di handphone, ada no rekening bank,” ujar Dirjen Zudan dalam keterangan videonya yang diterima, Kamis (10/3/2022).

Untuk mencegah pemalsuan data, lanjutnya, pihaknya melakukan pengamanan kepemilikan identitas digital melalui sistem autentifikasi guna mencegah pemalsuan data.

“Kita bisa melakukan identitas digital setelah verifikasi NIK, verifikasi PIN dengan foto wajah dengan tingkat keamanan yang kita buat berlapis,” katanya.

Identitas Digital, jelasnya, memudahkan KTP sekarang kedalam handphone, baik berupa foto atau QR Code. Saat ini, lanjutnya, nama dan wujud aplikasinya masih diuji coba di internal Dukcapil.

“Aplikasinya belum dipasang di Playstore dan Apps Store, saat ini masih diuji coba di internal Dukcapil di 58 Kabupaten dalam rangka penguatan sistem, pembenahan sistem dan perkuatan cyber security system,” terangnya.

Lalu, bagaimana jika handphone hilang? “Jika HP hilang, tentu identitas digitalnya ikut hilang. Nanti minta lagi ke Dukcapil dan dikirim ke nomor HP yang baru,” jelas Prof. Zudan.

Sedangkan bagi warga yang tidak memilik handphone, Dirjen Zudan mengatakan, tetap memberikan peluang menggunakan identitas yang berupa fisik, baik e-KTP atau KK. Pihaknya akan melakukan penerapan Identitas Digital secara bertahap.

“Jadi, Dukcapil tetap menerapkan prinsip double track system services, pemberian layanan dengan dua jalur: layanan digital dan layanan secara fisik manual,” pungkasnya.
