KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Maraknya pemberitaan akhir-akhir ini terkait Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT) kepala daerah di beberapa tempat oleh KPK selalu dikait-kaitkan dengan tugas Mendagri.

Secara administrasi pemerintahan menurut regulasinya benar namun bukan berarti secara perbuatan pribadi kepala daerah menjadi tanggungjawab pak Mendagri.

Hal ini dinyatakan Bangun Sitohang, Ketua Lembaga Kajian Nilai Menjadi Orang Indonesia, Senin (18/9/2017) di Jakarta saat dimintai pendapatnya atas adanya desakan mundur atas kejadian OTT belum lama ini.

Saat ditanyakan tentang maksud administrasi pemerintahan tersebut, Bangun Sitohang menandaskan balik bertanya, apakah korupsi oknum Kepala Daerah ada dalam perintah tugas dan sumpah jabatan yang dibacakan saat dilantik? Tentu tidak ada kan? Nah lo, kenapa yang didesak Mendagrinya untuk mundur. Di sinilah poin yang ingin saya tegaskan agar kita mau mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa ini melalui pendidikan politik yang demokratis berdasar nilai Pancasila dan norma hukum betdasar UUD 1945 dan turunan regulasinya.

Menurut Bangun itulah etika politik yang perlu kita sepakati kalau ngaku orang Indonesia. Di akhir perbincangan, putra Deli yang sempat santer dicalonkan sebagai Wakil Gubernur Sumut berpasangan dengan H. Syamsul Arifin, mantan Gubernur Sumut ini menjelaskan ulang agar kita jangan menggunakan pendapat yang ngarang-ngarang jika melihat masalah bangsa tetapi harus dalam perspektif regulasi terkait masalahnya.
