Mendagri: Mal Pelayanan Publik Cegah Pungli dan Tindak Pidana Korupsi

BADUNG — Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri) Muhammad Tito Karnavian menilai hadirnya Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) mampu mencegah pungutan liar (pungli) dan tindak pidana korupsi dalam proses pelayanan publik. Karena itu, pihaknya terus mendorong agar setiap daerah memiliki MPP yang mengintegrasikan berbagai pelayanan di dalam satu atap.

Apalagi, keberadaan MPP di setiap daerah merupakan amanat langsung Presiden Joko Widodo dan Wakil Presiden Ma’ruf Amin. Alasannya, MPP mampu mempermudah berbagai urusan masyarakat.

“Mal Pelayanan Publik ini akan dapat mencegah tindak pidana korupsi, pungli khususnya,” kata Mendagri beberapa waktu lalu di Hotel Merusaka, Nusa Dua, Kabupaten Badung, Bali.

Hal ini disebabkan pelayanan yang disediakan MPP dibuat secara terpadu, dengan mengintegrasikan berbagai pelayanan dalam sebuah sistem tanpa transaksi tunai.

“Semua transaksi tidak ada yang tunai, tapi menggunakan bank yang ada di situ juga, ini akan jauh mengurangi pungli,” tuturnya.

Melalui sistem transparan dan akuntabel inilah keberadaan MPP akan semakin mendorong kepastian dan kemudahan dalam mengurus berbagai kebutuhan masyarakat, termasuk perizinan usaha. Terlebih, hal ini didukung dengan proses yang mudah, alur birokrasi yang ringkas, yakni terpusat dan terkoordinasi dalam satu sistem yang sama. Pelayanan seperti itu membuat masyarakat lebih nyaman dan semakin dimudahkan dalam menyelesaikan urusannya.

“Mal Pelayanan Publik ini juga untuk membuat kepastian perizinan berusaha lebih mudah,” tuturnya.

Dengan sederet manfaat dan kemudahan yang didapatkan masyarakat atas keberadaan MPP, Mendagri menegaskan agar setiap daerah memiliki komitmen untuk memudahkan pelayanan publik dengan menyediakan fasilitas tersebut.

“Sekali lagi, perintah Presiden, Bapak Wakil Presiden, semua daerah harus memiliki Mal Pelayanan Publik ini,” pungkas Mendagri. (Lp)
