MAKASSAR – Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri) Tjahjo Kumolo meminta para kepala daerah untuk meniru Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel) Syahrul Yasin Limpo yang dinilai berprestasi.

“Saya minta para kepala daerah meniru Gubernur Sulsel untuk dapat berprestasi,” kata Tjahjo dalam rilis yang diterima dari Biro Humas dan Protokol Pemprov Sulsel di Makassar, Rabu.

Hal tersebut diutarakan Tjahjo saat Syahrul menjadi narasumber pada acara Pembekalan Kepemimpinan Pemerintah Dalam Negeri Angkatan III Tahun 2017 yang dilaksanakan di Jakarta, Rabu.

Mendagri juga mengingatkan agar para kepala daerah menjauhi tindak korupsi serta untuk fokus membangun keunggulan daerah.

Syahrul sendiri selama dua periode kepemimpinan telah meraih prestasi sebanyak 233 penghargaan. Terakhir menerima Penganugerahan Predikat Kepatuhan Tinggi dari Ombudsman Republik Indonesia di Balai Kartini, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa pagi (05/12) kemarin.

Pada kesempatan ini, dia tampil dengan materi “Peningkatan Daya Saing Daerah dalam Rangka Percepatan Pembangunan Nasional 2018”.

Dalam pemaparannya terkait isu pembangunan daerah, ia mengatakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan dan dilakukan, yaitu, penguatan konektivitas, interkoneksi dan pengembangan logistik.

Selain itu, kata dia, penting dilakukan pengembangan pengelolaan kawasan serta reduksi ketimpangan wilayah pendapatan dan penanggulangan kemiskinan.

“Serta upaya swasembada dan ketahanan pangan serta kedaulatan energi, pengembangan pariwisata dan kerjasama kepariwisataan,” sebut Syahrul.

Selain itu, kemaritiman, pengelolaan pulau-pulau kecil, wilayah terluar dan perbatasan, juga penguatan daya saing, dan inovasi pengetahuan dianggapnya penting.

Syahrul juga menyebutkan beberapa faktor daya saing ekonomi, berdasarkan World Econimc Index, terpuruknya daya saing disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor menonjol, diantaranya, tidak kondusifnya kondisi ekonomi makro. Buruknya kualitas kelembagaan publik dalam menjalankan fungsinya sebagai fasilitator dan pusat pelayanan, dan lemahnya kebijakan pengembangan teknologi dalam memfasilitasi kebutuhan peningkatan produktivitas.

“Ini juga dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya efisiensi usaha pada tingkat operasional perusahaan serta lemahnya iklim persaingan usaha,” papar Syahrul.

Untuk meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi suatu daerah, menurutnya, maka perlu dilakukan agenda reformasi birokrasi dengan sasaran, pemerintahan yang efektif dan efisien. Pemerintahan berbasis informasi dan teknologi (IT). Hadirnya aparatur yang kompeten dan kompetitif, serta hadirnya pemerintahan partisipatif dan melayani.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Syahrul juga menyampaikan indikator makro Sulsel tahun 2018 dengan sasaran, pertumbuhan Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) 8,3 persen, dan laju inflasi 4,5-2,5 persen.

Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) Sulsel pada angka 70,98 hingga 71,60. Sedangkan target jumlah wisatawan mancanegara sebanyak 153.000, dan wisatawan nusantara sebanyak 9,5 juta kunjungan.

“PDRB perkapita penduduk Rp60,20 juta, dan persentase penduduk miskin 8,24 persen,” sebut Syahrul. (ant)
