KESBANG.COM, JAKARTA – Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri) Tjahjo Kumolo memprediksi ada 3 pasang calon yang maju dalam Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2019. Hal ini berkaitan dengan acuan ambang batas pencalonan presiden dalam UU N0. 7 Tahun 2017 tentang Penyelenggaraan Pemilu.
Ketentuan ini, kata Tjahjo tak akan mempersulit parpol peserta pemilu dalam mencalonkan kadernya untuk maju dalam Pemilu. Belum lagi, koalisi dalam partai politik (parpol) tak selamanya terjalin. Karena itu, ia mencermati, kemungkinan bisa 2 atau 3 pasang calon.
“Saya mencermati saja, misal parpol koalisi Pak Jokowi, apakah semua (bergabung lagi), belum tentu juga. Dari yang saya cermati, misal 2 atau 3 pasang calon,” kata Tjahjo di sela-sela Workshop Nasional Kongres Kesatuan Perempuan Partai Golkar di Hotel Sultan, Jakarta, Sabtu (26/8)
Dengan demikian, ia meyakini kalau aturan mengenai ambang batas pencalonan presiden sebesar 20-25 persen tidak akan menghambat proses pencalonan capres-cawapres. Tjahjo juga meminta agar ketentuan tersebut dipandang sebagai bentuk konsolidasi demokrasi di Indonesia.
Sebelumnya, dalam UU Pemilu disepakati aturan soal ambang batas pencalonan presiden harus memiliki minimal 20 persen kursi di DPR atau meraih 25 persen suara sah nasional. Namun, banyak juga pihak yang menilai aturan ini akan melahirkan calon tunggal dalam Pilpres 2019.
Terkait aturan ambang batas pencalonan presiden ini, akan ada beberapa elemen masyarakat yang melakukan uji materi ke Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Namun Tjahjo menyerahkannya putusan tersebut ke MK. Sebab hanya lembaga ini yang berwenang menentukan UU inkonstitusional atau tidak. Pemerintah Prediksi 3 Pasang Calon Maju dalam Pilpres 2019.
