KESBANG.COM, SEMARANG – Menteri Dalam Negeri Tjahjo Kumolo menilai masih adanya pejabat negara yang melakukan tindak pidana korupsi kembali pada mental masing-masing secara pribadi.
“Aturan semuanya sudah lengkap. Kalau masih ada yang korupsi, ya, kembali ke mental yang bersangkutan,” katanya, di Semarang, Jumat, menanggapi banyak kepala daerah yang terjerat korupsi.
Hal itu diungkapkannya usai pelepasan keberangkatan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) yang akan mengikuti pendidikan bela negara selama tiga hari ke depan di Rindam IV/Diponegoro, Magelang.
Tjahjo mengakui pentingnya revolusi mental untuk mencegah orang berbuat yang tidak baik, termasuk korupsi yang tentunya membutuhkan proses dan tahapan panjang tidak cukup dalam 1-2 hari.
Ditanya biaya politik yang tinggi yang mendorong pejabat, terutama kepala daerah melakukan korupsi, politikus senior PDI Perjuangan itu sekali lagi menegaskan bergantung dengan pribadi masing-masing.
“Siapapun pejabat, mulai rektor, wali kota, ataupun saya. Kalau melihatnya selalu ke atas, ya, tidak pernah puas. Tetapi, kalau melihatnya ke bawah, ternyata banyak jauh di bawah,” katanya.
Dengan melihat ke bawah, kata dia, orang akan menyadari ternyata masih banyak orang-orang lain yang berada di bawah yang untuk makan saja mungkin sehari kurang sehingga akan melakukan introspeksi.
“Kalau melihatnya ke atas, pasti ada nafsu bagaimana caranya mendapatkan sesuatu dengan cara yang tidak halal,” kata mantan Sekretaris Jenderal DPP PDI Perjuangan tersebut.
Beberapa waktu ini, sejumlah kepala daerah di Jawa Tengah terjerat korupsi dalam operasi tangkap tangan (OTT) yang dilakukan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), terakhir Wali Kota Tegal Siti Masitha Soeparno.
Penangkapan sosok perempuan kepala daerah itu diduga berkaitan dengan pembangunan fisik ruang ICU di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Kardinah, Tegal.
Sebelumnya, lembaga antirasuah itu juga melakukan OTT terhadap Bupati Klaten Sri Hartini berkaitan dengan kasus suap promosi dan mutasi jabatan di lingkup pemerintah kabupaten setempat.
