JAKARTA – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo kembali akan meluncurkan dua judul buku pada 10 September 2022 mendatang, bertepatan dengan hari ulang tahunnya. ‘Meniti Buih di Antara Karang’ menjadi judul buku yang menandai 60 tahun perjalanan hidup Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet), sosok politisi dan pengusaha. Selain memuat tulisan Bamsoet sendiri, buku ini memuat catatan dan kesaksian para sahabat Bamsoet. Melengkapi buku ini, dokumentasi ratusan opini yang ditulis Bamsoet sepanjang dua dasawarsa terakhir dikemas dalam lima seri buku berjudul ‘Bunga Rampai Opini Bambang Soesatyo 2007-2022’.

Buku ‘Meniti Buih di Antara Karang’ memberi gambaran tentang sosok Bamsoet yang fokus dan konsisten pada apa yang ingin dicapainya. Setelah empat kali gagal dalam pemilihan anggota legislatif (Pileg), baru pada Pileg 2009 Bamsoet terpilih menjadi anggota DPR. Dia menjadi anggota Komisi III DPR RI, kemudian menerima amanah sebagai Ketua Komisi III DPR RI. Karier politiknya berlanjut dengan menjabat Ketua DPR RI periode 2018-2019, dan menjabat Ketua MPR RI periode 2019-2022.

Selain mengungkap catatan tentang proses perjuangan dan kerja keras Bamsoet menjadi anggota parlemen, buku ini juga memuat sebagian catatan riwayat hidup, peran dan bimbingan orang tua, berkarier sebagai wartawan dan kisah jatuh bangun dalam berbisnis. Bamsoet juga terus memperluas skala pergaulannya dengan menjangkau generasi milenial melalui sejumlah organisasi dan kegiatan.
Bamsoet terpilih menjadi anggota DPR dari Dapil Kabupaten Purbalingga, Kabupaten Banjarnegara dan dan Kabupaten Kebumen di Jawa Tengah. Para sahabatnya di tiga Dapil tersebut masih menyimpan catatan tentang bagaimana Bamsoet yang bekerja sangat keras, pantang menyerah dan nyaris tak kenal waktu untuk memperkenalkan dirinya kepada konstituen.

Selain itu, buku ini menunjukan kesungguhan Bamsoet merefleksikan peran dan fungsinya sebagai anggota parlemen, yakni sensitif dan peduli pada persoalan yang terjadi di tengah masyarkat. Pengabdian dan kepedulian Bamsoet kepada masyarakat tidak hanya ditunjukan melalui pernyataan pers dan tulisan opini, melainkan juga diwujudkan dalam tindakan dan perbuatan nyata, baik di Jakarta maupun daerah, termasuk di daerah pemilihannya (Dapil).

Sebelum dan setelah menjadi anggota parlemen, Bamsoet juga sangat aktif membuat pernyataan pers dan menulis opini untuk menyikapi ragam persoalan, baik menyangkut persoalan masyarakat maupun masalah negara-bangsa. Aktif melancarkan kritik, dan namun juga menawarkan solusi. Sudah ratusan opini ditulis dan ribuan pernyataan pers dibuat Bamsoet terhitung sejak 2007. Para wartawan pun setia menunggu dan mengikuti Bamsoet untuk mendapatkan pernyataannya. Untuk kinerjanya menyikapi ragam persoalan melalui pernyataan pers itu, pada April 2010 Bamsoet dianugerahi ‘News Maker Award’ oleh Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI Jaya).

Selain Penganugrahan ‘News Maker Award’ dari PWI Jaya, Bamsoet juga mendapat banyak pengahargaan, antara lain seperti The Best and The Next Legislator Award 2014; 10 Tokoh Politik dengan Branding Otentik dari Polaris Data and Story Lab (2018); Anugerah Pers Jawa Tengah dari Suara Merdeka Network (2018); Best Communicators dari majalah PR Indonesia (2018); Golden Democracy Award dari Rakyat Merdeka Online (2018).

Ada pula penghargaan The Best and The Next Legislator Award 2019; Parliament of The Year 2019 dari Teropong Senayan; Best Parliamentarians dari Obsession Media Group (2019); IJTI Jawa Tengah Award dari Ikatan Jurnalis Televisi Indonesia Jawa Tengah (2019); Democracy Award dari Moeslim Choice Media Networks (2019); Indonesia Digital Initiative Awards dari Diksi Digital Indonesia, Maven Digital Asia dan Circle Communication (2019).

Dilanjutkan Penghargaan Parliament of The Year 2020 dari Teropong Senayan; Rising Star of Democracy 2020 dari Teropong Senayan; Best Institution Leader 2020 dari Obsession Media Group; Inspiring Leader of Politician 2020 dari Teropong Senayan; dan untuk ketiga kalinya mendapatkan penghargaan Parliament of The Year 2021 untuk ketiga kalinya melalui ajang Teropong Parlemen Awards 2021.

Wakil Ketua Umum KADIN Indonesia ini juga mengoleksi berbagai rekor dari Museum Rekor-Dunia Indonesia (MURI). Antara lain Penyelenggara Turnamen Catur dengan Peserta Master Terbanyak di Dunia (2019); Sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR RI di Kejuaraan Tembak Nasional Legislator Championship dengan Penembak Terbanyak (2020); dan Sosialisasi Empat Pilar MPR RI kepada Anggota Komunitas Motor Terbanyak (2020).

Buku ‘Meniti Buih di Antara Karang’ akan diluncurkan pada 10 September 2022 di Jakarta, sekaligus peluncuran tempat rendezvous baru ‘Black Stone Garage’ (IMI Lounge), tempat tongkrongan baru bagi komunitas otomotif, club-club mobil dan motor di kawasan Hang Jebat Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, bertepatan dengan hari ulang tahun Bamsoet ke-60.
